Correction: The Snapdragon 870 scores around 700,000 in Antutu. There was some error with the GPU score. 3:16

The thing I love the most about this smartphone is the software experience. While companies like Xiaomi, Realme, and Vivo, constantly pushing ads and trying to make a small fortune out of it, an Indian almost-dead company comes up with a product like this - huge respect.

@@KishorAyar i own a poco phone and i hated the software experience mainly because of the crappy, wannabe ios ui and then late updates. Then i removed miui crap and then flashed a custom rom and now I am happy guy

Some people can't digest the fact that an Indian brand is able to launch such a good phone.
Very good option specially for those who are not that much of a hardcore gamer or camera savvy.
Seriously 2-3 more such phones from lava & trust will be built. (given that they provide great support & continue with consistency)

Man i am very happy, as this phone does not disappoint against others i would not consider it fair to gt Neo 3 but good to say the least and best part software experience and it's a Indian brand

Great effort from lava honestly but they should address the bugs with software support timely ..that will make huge difference in their future prospect and trust from buyers
They do push software updates regularly you would know if you follow their channel or on social media.

This is a great phone honestly.
The minor setbacks will be ignored by most of the people because of these :
1. Best looks and display in this price.
2. Processor is decent and would be enough for a normal user.
3. 256gb storage is underrated.
5. Stock Android is just too much rare these days.🔥
Overall seeing the quality that Lava has tried to bring, I am hopeful that they will work on the betterment of this phone whether it be updates, cameras etc.

Personally, I find the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G to be better looking.
I personally dont mind little bloatware if lava genuinely promises timely software updates and proper after sales service.
Pros;
1. Excellent display
2. Excellent design
3. Bloat free UI
4. Decent performance
5. Indian company/brand
Cons;
1. Average performance(specially for hardcore gamer)
2. Average camera
I hope Reliance or TATA support LAVA or Micromax in capturing the market. Its time India has a good indian smartphone at least an indian brand. We have to go a long way to have an indian phone like developing a good OS like android or the IOS. And having an indian chip. But with the right funding and good brains behind, its achievable (as most of the employees in most R&D companies are indians).
If we didn't have Chinese companies, Indian brands would be looting us with low quality high price products just like what micromax did.
I believe it’s possible for the state we’re in.
But none work in Indian companies 😅, Just as an example is me or anyone I seen in my field/other academics. Because work culture of Desi companies is worse to say at the least & most don't even have R&D funding & respect to work life balance is ignored. That's why no one wants to joins them other than usual IT/call centre 20k salary one's because they have no other option.
If someone gets an average 15L job package from both desi & foreign, 99% select so called foreign, Speaking from my experience as work life balance & work culture is very good & respect is given & so does the R&D Support.
Indian brands should be appreciated

This is the new oxygen OS and I am so glad it's an Indian Brand. Absolutely no one is offering seperate single tap wifi and mobile data on/off life, even some custom roms doens't have it.
Are you drunk, Oxygen OS were never this close to stock Android, they always had a skin and that's why people liked that and now that skin is ColorOS 😅😅

Realme GT neo3t was for 20000 for just 2 or 3 days then it came back to 30k . Comparison is unfair.

This is an amazing deal on its price range. Best part is the stock Android experience. It looks similar to my pixel device.
If lava brings a flagship with snapdragon 8 plus gen 1, stereo speakers, curved screen, large battery, 3 years of major OS updates under 30k, I would buy that one for sure.
Damn bro the pricing would be too aggressive and they cannot compromise that much to target the mass audience, somewhere around 35k would be good both for the brand as well as us

Oh man you are talking about dynamic range in front camera of a phone which is launched at 20K. I mean you can't expect more in this price. I have oneplus 9r which i have bought for 44K. It has the same dynamic range in front camera when i take a photo against light.

With so many curved display phones coming under 30k, is it sensible to buy them? Coz I am always concerned about the fragility and screen Guard issues that come together with such phones.

Even the realme 10 pro + for 25k comes with curved display. The curved display price has since come down and the quality is as good as the flagships. Also consider they will come to your house and no questions as to replace your phones if any problem comes. I think it is good quality.
@@pranaav2027 I generally use a phone for around 3 years. So a 6 month replacement guarantee would not solve all my problems.
Curved display phones are likely to break more, coz even their edges have screen over them. And edges face maximum impact when a phone falls.
Also, could you clarify about the tempered glass issue that comes with curved displays. Like how long do they last and how easily are they available.

SD Card is an Cheap alternative for Expanding Storage (if You don't want don't use it's no harm to get a feature like it) and There is Space in Phones for having Dual Sim Slot + SD Card Slot Tray like Infinix GT 10 Pro , Galaxy F62

The phone powered with MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset and has a premium look that is quite astonishing in terms of budget phone.

I also faced some bugs at start but after some software update,the issue is solved now
If lava promises to improve their Camera app (and the HDR issue in portrait mode) and other minor issues with updates, I'm hands down buying this ASAP

Is stock android UI cheaper or custom UI for the phone manufacturer?
Stock is typically free. Custom UI takes R&D and involves investment but makes people get used to the UI and helps in updating to the same company's next model phonea like samsung.
The same reason why Chinese phones are cheaper in China over Global/Indian market. Manufacturing locally gets the cost down!

In performance GT Neo 3 will be better but I don't think it is always available(open sale) for Rs 26999(8+256). In cameras GT is almost 9 month old phone so bugs might have been fixed within this time frame whereas Lava is a new device so if they can fix camera related bugs with updates it can compete with GT. And if you compare the same storage option with offer applied on both GT is 7K more expensive. Lava 8+256 @19999 and GT 8+256 @26999

You don't get s23 ultra specifications in 20k.
