The energy is a little lacking but fuck they sound so good. Stern's live audio mixing for his guests is TOPPEST-TIER. I am blown away by the wonderful balance and the effortlessness of the performers.
Although Jon is obviously the "star" of this band, holy shit, just watch and listen to Tico Torres. What a fucking badass.

Does my heart good to see Richie... After he left it should have been the The Jon Bon Jovi Band, not Bon Jovi. His voice and guitar are unique.
Why? It was always Jon's band. Richie wasn't even apart of the "formation" of the whole concept. Jon had done Runaway with a bunch of studio guys. Richie and pretty much the rest of them were brought in afterwards to become a band. Jon's got every right to continue it whatever way he wants. He's always been Bon Jovi.
