It really speaks to the editing here that I keep forgetting that both characters are played by Julie. The reaction shots while the other character is talking, layering both characters talking over each other, it's seamless! Very well done!

@DiSc2ko1the accent doesn't sound Canadian to me at all. I would say it sounds like an immitation of the Marge Gunderson character in the movie Fargo, who was supposed to be from North Dakota.

The data thing is kinda funny cause it's like "you want your data erased? Give it to us then!"... Huahauhauahauah
It's a strange thing to try to sell, to be sure. "Erased" from # sites and forums which nobody knew existed as if "erased" is as simple as a window squeegee. That's not how even the legal data brokers work, let alone those beyond borders and the reach of law. There's no magic wand service for this problem.
@@inscrutianaII It could be interesting to have someone getting 2 or more of these services and trying them at the same time to see the results. Like will they give the same report before the "sweep"? Will they list one another? The post "sweep" will have the same report? Stuff like that... cause TBH this looks a helluva scam to me, at the very least I don't believe on the efficacy as they present it.
@@sessasidney If you've seen one, the report ends up just being a report. This service seems to also offer remediation, which is powerfully disingenuous. Some of these results can't be solved by a no contact registry or the privacy policies of one country versus another vs none. Even for those which are, the law and practical data management differ greatly in that compliance could amount to simply nulling out one linking identifier... until a scheduled process or behavior across the ecosystem puts it right back again a few months later. To suggest to people with near zero knowledge that a thing was solved which is unsolvable is fraud and, frankly, inside baseball.

I know RUclipsrs have to make a living but why is it always the scammiest sponsors: Temu, BetterHelp, that fake title company, Nord VPN, Raid Shadow Legends, questionable "data privacy" companies, etc.
They probably pay a lot as far as monthly income and affording stuff and making videos. I'm not sure of the full details, but I think other youtubers have talked about behind the scenes stuff on sponsored videos.

I have several, some are merino/acrylic blend, one is merino/silk, a couple are cashmere, all of those are comfortable even in slightly warm weather as they don't feel too warm. I guess it's because they breathe, but how do they keep us warm if they breathe?

Seriously, that stuff IS out there. I once *_accidentally_* found the personal phone number of a celebrity actress/singer as a clickable link. I was shocked, and tried to navigate away from it, but mistakenly clicked on it. Her answering machine answered, and I hung up immediately. Then I thought "This woman's going to think I'm some creeper if she checks her messages and hears a hangup from halfway across the country." So I called back and left a message explaining what happened and letting her know what site I found her unsecured number on. I felt really uncomfortable about that.
Julie draws attention to this issue by making light of it, but it's worth remembering that there's truth behind True Crime Podcast Lady's words. Remember Rebecca Schaeffer - and that was before the Internet was a public thing. And it isn't just women with their info out there waiting to compromise them, either.

My friend of 15 years was butchered by her husband of 7 years after asking him for a separation. Probably about 15 feet from their sleeping kids. Put her in a suit case and called her mom to tell her she was gone, on the moms birthday, also 3 weeks from my friends birthday. It really isn't always easy.
