One of my favorite songs. I used to listen to this while I was high. It felt like an out of body experience. I was simply an observer of my thoughts. I was nihilistic before, but hearing this really made me change my view on life. There is more to life than trying to receive validation or to become famous. Society tries to put me in a role. Get a job and climb the corporate ladder. That’s not for me. I’m on my goal of making my own life path. I will say this song does make me a little depressed but is also up lifting.
@@gothicwvlff2 It's a fallout new vegas reference. If you care enough to want to know: Former general of dictator suffers defeat. Dictator as punishment sets him on fire and throws him into the grand canyon. Burned man survives and basically has a religious revelation from it.
@@JestizerI also don‘t interpret it miserable. For me (in short) it‘s more like success/money/status doesn‘t matter, find out for yourself what matters in life
No one seems to be talking about the background and I’ll just say it. It invokes some nostalgia specially because it reminds me of walking through one of those emergency hospitals for kids, something about it felt quite off even with the knowledge of it being a hospital where people would help me. Sometimes I would feel alone in there and it would feel exactly how this image is shown. It brings me back with the colors and all, the walls the flooring, all of it. Feels out of place pretty much.
The spoken word intro works that is not in this version but I don't really need to hear it all the time. We aren't always trying to use music to tell personal stories or signal to others that we are looking for virtues in oneself.
Someone put the song on Spotify :)

Settle down please followed by the dnb rhythm just hits right
I actually like the intro but sometimes it is just too miserable to listen to, so thanks for this
Without the intro it feels like it's harder to get the message of the song
I dont think the intro is supposed to be miserable. Not the way i interpret it

One of the many songs made by jvne that isn't just a song
This song goes hard, it makes me reflect on all my mistakes and inspires me to be a better person lmao

I prefer DMT dreams.
Still the best song Sewer ever made, banger
Is there a tutorial how to make this kind of nostalgic drum n’ bass?
