Sentry 15V2T Tornado Siren Test | Full Attack & Full Alert | Boone, IA

- I had to stay semi-local for the first Monday, so I finally went to Boone. Ever since I saw this...thing...I KNEW it ha to be filmed! This thing seems to have been through hell and back; horns missing, loose, and unextended, and only 1/2 of it actually works! Apparently, the locals are not impressed with this siren (I agree) and say the old Thunderbolt was way more effective. Either way, at least it went off, and the CD&F curse did not strike.
Siren: Sentry Siren 15V2T (Kinda Janky)
Date Recorded: 11/2/2020

Testing day/time: First Monday's at 1:00PM

Canon Vixia HF R800 camcorder
Canon Powershot SX540 HS Point-&-Shoot

No it’s just whoever installed the siren didn’t forget to remove all the packing material first
The company who installed this was probably readywatt electric
can they probably never took the siren, and they probably dropped it on those horns😂😂😂
That poor Sentry has more problems than I do
I bet they’re regretting replacing their Thunderbolts now. Geez, this thing’s seen better days.
That is one interesting Sentry...
My mom was used to the Thunderbolt here, since she lived here for some time as a child.
What a (literally) half assed installation job. They didn't even take the packaging materials out of the horns.
What... this is absolutely not Sentry, this is his deformed brother, Yrtnes. In all seriousness though, great video as always!
0:13 That sounds exactly like the two tone that activates the Sentry 10V in Pandora Ohio in attack
MONKE SPOTTED
2:43 I see the horn wiggle
Its lost connection, the same problem happens to 3t22s and 2t22s, This is caused by full force of wind from the chopper
Bet Boone wants their Thunderbolts back.. christ..
WoW ThIs LoOkS WeIrD SeNtRy
if i got this installed this in my town, and it looked like this, i would go full karen mode and file a lawsuit
Lmao
...
I am dumbfounded at the state of this poor thing. HOW ON EARTH DOES SOMEONE ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN???????
Someday this is going to cause a lawsuit. I can feel it.
0:43 Siren had a hiccup while winding down.
That’s a motor stopper which indicates it’s single phase
ima list a few things wrong with the siren that i can see
1. it appears that the mount is a little too big for the pole
2. all the horns are placed wrong as everyone can see
3. most of the horns aren't even extended
4. they messed it up so badly the top chopper doesn't spin
Edit: from further "inspection" i can see that they did not finish the job
5. a horn is moving
Ig it's now a 7.5v2t.
If I’m right, that top chopper is not working? And that is a crazy siren setup. The person building that siren up had one job. One gob. Good video though.
You are correct. Essentially this thing has been downgraded to a 10V. No wonder the locals are complaining about the performance!
Nah it More like downgraded to a Sentry 15v
That sentry has good tricks
whoever set this up had ONE JOB
1. the mound is hedious
2.one of them are wiggiling
3.the top chopper isint working
Sentry after improper installation
Sentry 7.5V1T
I love your siren videos
Sentry Siren Nohorn2T
Interesting...
Great!
"THIS IS THE 15V2T AND THE TOP CHOPPER DOESN'T EVEN MOVE AND ONE OF THE HORNS ARE NOT EXTENDED AND ONE HORN IS WIGGLING ITS A CERTIFIED SENTRY REPAIR"
.Builder of the sentry.
10V1T*
@@borkluchtalarmwrong it's the 15V2T
@@huynhhaphamthi8705 Thats true. I don't know why I thought it was a 10V1T...
@@borkluchtalarmyeah mate...
Whoever set this siren mount looking like that obviously is a freaking amateur! I mean c'mon! If I had somebody put the siren up properly and then the person who lets say I hired put it up like this, guess what! That person would be immediately fired! Seriously, the mount looks hideous guys!
Did the horn fall?!?
What the hell happened to the Sentry? You have the projectors pushed in/cut out and the top chopper doesn't work!
Boone messed up replacing it’s bolts...
This scares me
Siren: I lost this horn in 2003 and this one in 1999 then the top chopper stoped in 2015
Oof, the off time in the attack cycle is way too long and it cycles the start switch every time. Can’t be good for anything…
Why did sentry set up their own siren like this well at least it has horns and the horns look like a sentry defender horn some of them
Wow... *someone didn't install this correctly*
what happened to the siren?!?
update the siren is dying sick and melted chopper and its lean is getting worse
What in the world happened to that poor thing?!
The installer had no idea what they were doing by the looks of it.
Maybe it fell down but instead of getting a new 15v the just slapped broken horns and somehow caused the top motor to stop spinning
the top chopper isnt even spinning
The 16 port ain’t even spinning
Whoever installed this garbage only had one job, ONE JOB, and still fucked it up,
1: The horns aren’t extended
2: they didn’t remove the packaging material
3: some horns are half screwed on and falling off
4: the top motor doesn’t even work LMAO
Top chopper not moving???
stuff like this is why I don't really like dual motor sirens
The picture of the sentry siren had a bad word on it I guess somethin happened
was this loud?
Happy 700 subscribers! Keep up the good work! Your videos are amazing!
This thing is so cursed.
How’d it get like that?
Was it quiet?
That attack is screwed up. DC siren be like:
It’s not DC, it’s single phase AC. The reason the attack sounds a bit wonky at times is due to the centrifugal clutch kicking in to recharge the capacitors on the motor. Pretty common on single phase Sentrys.
@@MidwestSirenProductions Heh, I meant to say it was single phase lol.
What moron set this up?? Like literally who set this up... Great video but I'm just so disappointed in the work they put into the siren..
@SirenTube No if I can recall it was a dealer that set it up.
it looks incomplete
@WFT!?
One of the horns is moving😱😱😱
D O N O T P A N I C K I D S
@@lhennacis2051wym?
just replace it at this point, maybe with a Whelen vortex or smth.
Why? It still gets the signal out and projects it.
@@TheJakeman789 have you even seen this abomination?
1. Top chopper is wrecked
2. Horns aren’t extended
What more do you need to know?
IM HATE WHELENS
Oh, come on guys, why you hate Whelens tho?
What the heck happened to this thing? LOL
siren brokey
The worst thunderbolt replacement ever; a broken sentry siren.
Half of the siren is good, half of the siren is fracked up and/or broken.
what port ratio is this siren?
8/16, but only the 8-port side is running.

What is the CD&F curse?
Civil Defense & Fire (CD&F) radios are notorious for experiencing miscommunication problems, on par with old Siratrol and Veetronix radios, so they have become synonymous with siren failures.
@@MidwestSirenProductions ahh, okay
She’s damaged
When the fuck
WTF
a tornado hit this siren
no. For whatever reason, some of the horns weren’t extent out and 1 motor isn’t working
@@Fratt4008 some of the horns are gone!
@@1000BT no, they just aren’t extended
@Becky5634 it wasn’t hooked up
Pathetic siren
