It's not just skepticism. Tesla was likely Bipolar, and the fact that he figured out something that no one else could (AC motors) made him feel like a god among men. He started talking about how he was communicating with moon men and fell in love with a pigeon. AC power sources are indespensible, obviously.
However, the Tesla tower was physically impossible. The distances he wanted these signals to travel over open space, with no resistance, is insane. The volume these towers would have to be is orders of magnitude greater than what he was making. There is also no garuntee that the best conductor in some given area would be another tower. Additionally, he seems also to forget about the law of inverse squares.
AC motors were different, there was a physical theory to support them before he even got his engineering degree. Certain people just thought we'd never crack them. Tesla used known science and creative thinking to make a solution. After this, he started going on crackpot expeditions to prove whatever insane intuition he had. He did some good engineering and a lot of pseudoscience.

I would recommend equalizing the volume and having an EQ on the narration to remove the harsh 'ph' sounds , in addition to having some background music. Other than that. Amazing!

I can't believe this is a channel with less than a million subs, I thought I was super early when I saw that this video had no comments

Ive always understood the glass story to be about 'unbreakable' glass and its theorized to be some type of early borosilicate glass. Ive never understood Borosilicate glass to be malleable in any way. any dent that could be hammered would cause the surface tension of the annealed glass to shatter.
