Thank you! I’ve got Albions coming in March and Ozarks coming in a few weeks. I’m excited to plant them!

Cavendish is an incredible variety for us in the north. Planted 25 plants from Nourse and it spread into a nice wide row and gave me a huge crop the next spring. All the u- pick berry farms up here grow this as one of their top varieties. I plant Mara De Bois from nourse every year as an annual-100 plants. Plant May 15 and they start producing late July and have a heavy steady crop till October. They bloom like crazy. Minnesota.

I am in northern WI, zone 3, and have trouble with the droesiphila in my blackberries.

@@terrytegen5542 what variety of blackberry is cold hardy enough for the canes to survive the winter in zone 3 (or, what variety of primocane blackberry produces early enough before frost, if you only obtain a fall harvest)?
I am in zone 5a and have been getting the impression that I may be too far north to grow blackberries. I hope not! Raspberries appear more cold hardy, but I would like to grow both. Thanks for any info from your experience.

    Hi Gary
I have so enjoyed your program and your tips are very helpful
I'm from South Africa Gauteng province and been growing strawberries for a long time
I grow in dutch pots and was asked to sell my berries for my retirement
The nurseries are not very helpful
They want you to buy what they have and i want to know what the best cultivar suits my needs for sales
I use living soil and feed nutrients every 12 days
I would be very grateful for your personal advice
    Yours sincerely Barbs
