I kept going back and forth between the top 2 hotels, let me know what think should be the number 1.

Unpopular opinion I think the Marriot is a better value. It lacks the dining options but the property is amazing.

Halikulani, I like being close to the city right our the back door, plus being on the beach. Don;t have to drive anywhere ever. Its super convenient

Thank you! Yes the background music is important and should be considered carefully, something I always think about.

Personally I would put the Halekulani number 1, absolutely the most luxurious resort stay we've ever experienced, and the restaurants are exquisite, I also would replace the Ritz-Carlton with the Turtle Bay resort, quiet relaxation in a beautiful setting, all the rooms have ocean views, and a Roy's on-site, the Ritz-Carlton location leaves alot to be desired, prefer to be ocean front when visiting the islands, great video, keep them coming

Excellent points. Turtle Bay is on my list and many others have told me I need to get out there quick. Hoping to visit Roy's restaurant, Beach House, very soon. Maybe for Mother's Day.

I also was looking for Turtle Bay to be on the list, a much better choice than the Ritz, which is not beach front. A beach front property location is one of the top priorities when choosing where to stay any time I am going to Hawaii. That is much more important than turn down service to me.

@@yuvonnemoore5466 I am really looking forward to staying at the Turtle Bay resort soon. I have heard other great comments, especially after the renovation. I hope the rooms and service are on par with other luxury hotels. Will post here for sure when I do.

Loved this video, you give such a perfect description of each hotel! My #1 choice would still be the Halekulani. So beautiful in every way and the restaurants are incredible ❤

It is a difficult choice between the Halekulani and that Four Seasons. Mostly the difference is the noise. Last time I stayed at the Halekulani it was very noisy. In the early morning there was a lot of noise as the staff prepared the pool area for the day. I wanted to sleep in. I stayed there when it was only a two story hotel - many years ago. I am eager to try the Four Seasons as soon as possible.

If noise is of concern you are going to love the Four Seasons O'ahu. See my other video, I left the patio door open all night and only heard the ocean, amazing. Current rates are about $1000-$1500 for basic rooms, the free breakfast is worth it at La Hiki, classictravel.com/suitesandlobbies

Just wondering why it's so important to have a turn down service? I'd prefer to have less people in my room as possible. I'm sure I am more than capable of turning a few sheets down and turning a light on 🤔😊.

Thanks for this comment! I think everyone has a different set of preferences when it come to the ideal luxury stay. I have had other people comment "it has to be beachfront to be luxury!", to each their own :) . I would hope though that a luxury hotel would make it simple and easy to cancel turn down service so that those like yourself who want less people in the room will be happy.

@@suitesandlobbies thank you for responding 😊. Totally understand what you said, my comment was said by someone who has never stayed at a luxury hotel , well, not one that has a turn down service 😀 🤗.
