Forestella is a crossover group from Korea. They were grouped through Phantom Singer 2; an audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea and won it. However, as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Hence Forestella has sung great covers in various TV shows, better filter on the video to avoid copyright block. Forestella dared to cover the songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Hijo de la Luna, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. And they broke the record of their own with EXO's MAMA winning 6 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs. Check their magnificent performances of Bad Romance and Lazenca Save us, Unwritten Legend and Despacito too. Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (a classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (an ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (a classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (a musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. They meet almost everyday to practice together. In a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in the year. Bae DooHoon also said they don't meet 1~2 days in a month. I think this explains how their perfection can be possible. Don't miss their m/v for Save our lives! It's full of wonders. Each of them is representing an element in the m/v. My point is he was a super elite like to be a research engineer which is hard to be as a bachelor, it's harder to be a researcher than to be an engineer for a bachelor as far I know.. he has several patents, he wrote many papers on petrochemical theme, even wrote 3 papers while working as Forestella during his leave of absence period his company exceptionally offered. I was using "research chemist" instead of "chemical engineer" because I was not sure if the engineer is a correct term for my intent or not. Or a "research engineer" in a petrochemical company would be more correct? Please help me to figure this out clearly. I feel lost in translation..

I didn’t know their backstory, so the “Guide to Forestella in 2023/2024” that one of their fans uploaded in their channel was very helpful. The channel name is “Awkward [insert male name]”…sorry, can’t remember the name offhand. ☺️
