You have a few people in a casino surveillance room that are watching the whole casino. They don’t have people watching a single table the whole time unless it’s full of big action. Ex: a baccarat/bj table with people betting 1,000-5,000 per hand will have the eye in the sky watching.
It’s not true. This guy is all talk. One flaw he does not explain….is how do you get the $5,000 chip to begin with without being noticed. Especially back in the 80;90’s when they said they did this. They just don’t hand out $5k chips to play with and if yiu convince them too…they would watch you closely not because your a cheat….your a big /enter potentially so they want to look after you, So this scam never happened.
I’ve worked in 3 different casinos and I’ve never seen even a 1k chip that wasn’t oversized. The 5k chip absolutely can’t be hid under a 5$ chip. It would be like trying to cover a quarter with a dime. Basically the same thing. You could do this hustle with 100 or 500$ chips but definitely not 1000 or higher
