You have a beautiful little dog there, does she play guitar too? Cool vid not too much talking and lots of cool sound demos which helps as I search seemingly in vain for a 'smooth NON fizzy' sustaining distortion. Great playing and hoodie btw!! 👍 Glad to sub !
hey man i love what you do man!!, on guitar rig 6 you can enter full demo mode just left click on the 3 dots on the top of the sim and go to file then preferences, then click on libary and go down and click on activate demo mode and you can use every amp and effect that the paid version has for about 30 mins...and when times up just do it all over again.... i didnt know if you knew this lil hack, so you didnt have to use just one amp in guitar rig 6.. take care JON
Thanks my friend! I didn't know that!! I actually have the full version here but that would have been a good tidbit to add in the video. Thanks for sharing!
Nice video! Here are a few more mentionables: Neurontube Debut byt Audio SIngularity - Soldano SLO-100 clone for that chug-chug. NALEX series of amps, the Crunchman is nice. Audiority LX12. Some of these need IR sims and cabs and is not so user friendly for a newbie, but they're flxible and don't require five different "app stores", download/licensing managers to deal with 😀
Hey, man! So here would be my suggestions... if you wanna travel back in time, you could take a look at LePou and TSE Audio amps (old and classic stuff). Nowadays, it would be great to take a look at Amped Roots (ML SoundLabs), Neurontube (Audio SIngularity), Blacksun (Audio Assault), the free version of Amplitube 5 and the stuff from VTar Amps and NaLex. I'm looking forward to hear your thoughts about them! 🤘
Thanks man! git it noted! I have the full Amplitude suite. I didn't want to have two products from one company in the group of 3. But on quality, Amplitube should have been there. I did a whole video on theX-Gear for Amplitube here on my channel if you want to check that out. I will revisit sims soon. Stay tuned!
@@LonelyRocker ... one curious thing is that I was not a fan of Amplitube (maybe because of the older versions?). I just got to like it really recently. For hi-gain stuff, it needs some xtra tweaking, but it delivers good results. I'll check your other video! 🤘🏻
Amplitube together with Tonex is unbeatable. High Gain tones are always tricky because that feeling you get through a real amp is hard to beat. But lots of great high gain tones. I tweak everything so that's just seems normal ;)
New sub, love your channel, and I’m a lonely rocker too. I haven’t invested to heavily into software, but have several tube amps I would like to try stereo with your methods. I do wonder if I can use an old rack Quadraverb in the loops instead of pedals, I don’t have chorus or delay pedals. Thanks and look forward to the future videos. 😎
Question for you on studio monitors vs headphones. I already have a wireless system from my guitar to my interface (so I don't have to be 'corded' into the interface) and would like to use studio monitors rather than headphones to make me completely 'uncorded.' I know it is possible to plug in studio monitors to my interface, but is it recommended to do so while I am playing (so I can avoid headphone cables)?
Studio Monitors are designed to be plugged into studio monitors. That’s what they are designed to do. I’m more concerned about going wireless with the guitar. for Messing around but I’d never record with a wireless setup. Cables are always best in that case.
It's not that it expects you to. It gives you the option to. In Cab IR Packs you often get blends. This allows you to make your own custom blends. But you can mute one side and just load one if you prefer. It's actually a very cool feature in a FREE plugin...
That really depends on your system and DAW. Direct monitoring is always the best but for recording without the plugin on you have no tone. In Logic Pro there is a low latency mode that helps when recording. I'm sure other DAWs have a similar feature. Also lower the buffer as much as possible. Hope this helps!
Just follow the links and download the free software from their sites and follow install instructions. I just updated the TONEX link. All 3 are in the description.
first of all guitar rig is terrible dude! wtf seriously lol, roots2.0, vtr vadim tarnanov all his stuff rules! ninja by nalex and you did hit it right with tonex neurontube and blacksun by audio assault!

Great video! I have emissary and NadIR already and it's cool. AmpliTube beaten my system so is a no go for me. I'll give Tonex a try for sure! 🤘🤘🤘
Thnx Roque! Definitely try Tonex. I highly recommend it.
Really nice presentation and flow to the video. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much!! Really appreciate that!

Vtar amps for great free amps. Mostly high gain
Thnx! I'll check them out!
Thank you - using emissary but downloading Tonex now
Awesome! Enjoy it!! Let me know what you think about it!!
Enjoyed that, thanks Dan!
Glad you enjoyed it Dave!
Rush hoodie plus a Howard Roberts Gibson !!! ❤
Great Eye!! Two of my favourite things! :))))))
Love the doggy love! :) ❤
And he loves you 😂😂
I literally have that interface, it is plenty good enough, as a headphone amp as well.
Does the job for sure!
Thanks dude! Awesome video!
My pleasure! And thank you so much!

Can you explain why NadIR expects you to choose two IRs by default? Wouldn't one IR suffice?
It's not that it expects you to. It gives you the option to. In Cab IR Packs you often get blends. This allows you to make your own custom blends. But you can mute one side and just load one if you prefer. It's actually a very cool feature in a FREE plugin...

Never!!! 😂😂😂😂

whats the best way to remove lag, i mean the closest you can get to real time

Can u link the link below to the TONE X free amps
It's in the description about halfway down...
@@LonelyRocker it's no longer free.
Nope, the free version Ik Multimedia and ToneX sound different when you hit record. They sound good when you are playing not recording.
I wouldn’t say that. I’m an amp guy and I get great results with TONEX in a mix.
NI Guitar Rig is old and looks and sounds it. Feels like a 2005 software. Much better options around.
I agree. I’m actually planning for a follow up. Any suggestions?
I did a new video with a revised list...check it out: ruclips.net/video/xELeKrCm43A/видео.html
hello and thank you really good vid; i download the tonex andi have a delay why is that?
My pleasure. When you say delay do you mean latency?
How & where can one download, and will they work offline?
Links are in the description. and yes, they all work offline.
Thanx for the quick response.
thx man but theres one thing i dont understand. where does the sound come from
From your computer?
can this work with the rocksmith cable?
Ive never used one but as long as your computer receives the signal from your guitar it will work.
hey, how do you install these on your computer (mac for me)? thanks

I’m planning a follow up to this with more independent plugins. Including suggestions in the comments. Thanks for yours!
I did a redo on this video...thanks for your feedback! ruclips.net/video/xELeKrCm43A/видео.html
Hands down guitar rig is the worst plug in for guitar. Stupidity they made a plugin called guitar rig that sounds amazing for everything but guitar.
