None of the jokes were really dark, preparing audience and hyping them up was just a waste of time. Hoping it would get darker with time like jokes on race, culture, religion, gender etc.

The question is not about how far can you stretch the joke but how people get desensitized? if we really want to end violence against women the we need to speak of the negative effects of porn and such jokes. SA has increased because of moral degradation in society and such things further aggravate it.

Imagine a kid being bullied about being fat all his life, getting ignored by everyone, where no one wants to be his friend, which Eventually leads to a trauma.
Something that can never be fixed.
He's never gonna forget.
And then there comes another guy joking about his trauma and when he says he's not okay with it, then the guy says him that he can't take a joke. It's just a joke.
I think dark comedy is good, only when it helping to lighten mood of everyone including the person/topic it is joked about.
Like if i say, 'dark comedy is like water, not everyone gets it.' no one's emotions are harmed.
But i think rape is a different topic. In a country where almost every women has suffered sexual harrasment, with no where to get help from, the topic still being a taboo,.. i don't think laughing it out is helping. It's the same how politicians laugh the matter out.
Plus, why do we have to follow the west in everything? Why can't we build up our own values so that the west starts to follow us?
It personally made me uncomfortable as a victim of sexual harrasment at a very young age. This was just my take on this.

@@kanikajha09when the 'sensitive' topic is touched without any hard feelings the victims feel the comfort that people believe it's not their fault as they were not even able to prove themselves right the joke is not always just a silly little joke as you may realize alot of information is also delivered through that joke even if it's hard to believe there ARE people who don't even know these things like 'victim blaming' is wrong and no one wants sympathy so actually talking about them and for them with the help of humor is easier and a joke makes people laugh ik if the joke is too dark it makes the victims only feel bad but if it's on a balance of funny, dark and informative then I personally feel like is good

As of the porn statement obviously you're right that those things should be talked about too but again it's not a video about the things that are wrong in this world cuz there are many more things other than the ones he talked about and the ones you stated it's a stand up comedy video for people to have a laugh wether it be victims, family members of those victims, or normal people

not a bollywood devote or something but i would say that in that PINK movie joke.. the thing is to be considered that if n numbers of r*pe cases were filed before movie released.. after the releasing of the movie n+hundred cases were filed.. meaning that the awareness did happened ... bcs this is harsh but the truth that world especially in India filing case & fighting against such wrong acts brings insane judgement to the victim only... leading most mishaps not registered...
