I do follow the 1993 Come Hell or High Water DVD pretty close on this cover but there are a few liberties I took in the spur of the moment. I am not a robot. The scale based shreds and the arpeggio break between them might seen awkward to finger but this is exactly how Blackmore plays them. I checked all the video performances to make sure. Feel free to change them around if that's easier for you but this is how he did it.

I'm finding Ritchie hard to learn not because of the notes or the speed but the swing thingy he does with the tempos where I don't expect it. That's one of the reasons he sounds so much like himself! You nailed those, congrats and keep it up!

@@DogwithtwoBones You seem to have nailed it. Very different to how I've played it. I definitely need to practice my bottleneck precision. Hardly ever use it.
@@DogwithtwoBones There is generally a lot to unpick with Blackmore, I find. What he lacks in technique, compared with later guitarists, he makes up for in melodic flair and swagger.
I don't suppose you're willing and able to share the backing track?
@@jan-kjetiljess503 I agree with the swagger and melody but I think he had the appropriate amount of technique a guitarist need and others after him actually have surpassed the requirement. On the other hand Blackmore is a monster picker, his speed is astonishing he just doesnt do the usual shred drills that his successors came up with.

@@DogwithtwoBones, I agree. Too many bells and whistles can become a distraction. Speed will never outdo melodic flair. A cousin of mine who is a very good singer actually avoids singing lessons for a similar reason. He doesn't want to lose the organic sound. The imperfections.

Ritchie music from purple to Blackmore nights is a variation like a Rainbow 🌈 not like Yngwie he’s black and white!
I agree. Malmsteen is a “one trick pony” granted that trick is amazing and he’s a technical genious but still.
It is right-handed play that prevents Blackmore's phrases from being played.
You mean the picking is what makes it hard? If so I agree.

Do you have a video anywhere that explains the modifications you’ve made to get this tone?………I’m searching for this tone! 👍
The three main components of this sound I believe is the Boss OC 3 octave pedal, the BSM Galaxy drive pedal and the Custom Marshall Major amp. I dont understand the mods on a technical level, but you can have Max build you an amp like this. It is is an absolute must from Blackmore, but you can get surprisingly close with a marshall studio vintage SV20 with either the BSM Galaxy or Max's Aiwa pedal.

What are the inside dimensions of the iso cab (just approximately)? And how loud is it outside the cab when you're playing?
It is a jetcity isolation cab, which is pretty small and has one speaker built in. So it is not a 4x12 or 2x12 in a box. I will show it too in my upcoming amp video. The amp itself is almost all the way up but it is attenuated as well.

Кирилл Коч if you think about the octave effect it is a Boss OD3 octave pedal that adds one or two octaves in the low registers.
Otherwise I have a custom marshall major and a BSM Galaxy whixh is an aiwa tape drive pedal. I have videos of these on my channel.

That’s a roland gk guitar synthetizer pickup and it’s control module but i am not using it for the sound, it’s not plugged in, just for aesthetics. Blackmore did use it though.

It’s a mexican Blackmore signature. I changed the pickups to lace sensor golds and added the roland guitar synth pickup but I am not using that.
