What is stunning about this short (and what the behind the scenes show) is how much can be achieved on a film of this size. Great to see such great collaboration and it shows in the film itself as it has a fantastic story. Brilliant work.
Thanks for the kind words James. I agree, I'm a big fan of short shorts - less than 5 mins. I think you can focus your production budget and time much more efficiently and make something with some real production value. Also you have to be smart - use what's available to you, what no-one else might have access to. Good collaborators are essential though, so many short films are too long and overtax the goodwill that people will have towards you. Keep it short, keep it smart.

I find this really inspiring. congrats on winning best cinematography. :D I also invested into a zoom h4n and ntg-2 that should be coming in the mail later this week. You captured and edited some amazing visuals. You did made me realize how sound, visuals, and a story ties in together can make a film great.
Verttech4 Pics are only half the thing. If anything I would have liked more time to spend on the sound. It's always the thing that draws attention when it's not right and it can add so much. Thanks for your kind comment.
