Clip from the rewatch of Episode 40: PRECIPICE
This week Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum tackle a Smallville episode all about predatory men in Season 2 Episode 19: PRECIPICE… joined by special guest (of the show and pod) ANSON MOUNT!! We have a ton of fun with Anson discussing his experience with Smallville, working with Michael on Poolhall Junkies, and whether or not he turned down the original offer to star as Lex Luthor!! More good stuff this week discussing the new sheriff, Lana’s roundhouse kicks, and more - hope you folks enjoy.

Strange new worlds is the best new Trek show.
It's incredible that Anson Mount and Paul Wesley that have appeared in Smallville (one as a guest star the other as Lex's brother) and then they become Pike and Kirk on Star Trek🤯
I loved Poolhall Junkies and was always a fan of Anson....But he absolutely OWNS that Captain Pike role, absolutely owned it. The way he snapped his fingers, his facial gestures, his quips......Guy did an amazing job.
Loved having him on. So much fun ❤️🙏🏻
I will rewatch Star Trek strange new worlds
I love micheal in Impastor. So sad that it only lasted 2 seasons.
I Saw This Yesterday Thursday Of Anson Mount Speaking About His, New Role In The Star Trek Franchise
Of Strange New Worlds
Being Captain Kirk's Friend Pike
And, Paul Wesley Originally From Smallville To, The Vampire Diaries
Gets To Be Kirk Like, Chris Pine
Impastor deserved more than 2 seasons
The fact that the Evangelicals & religious right *HATED IT* made me want to see it succeed.
Cullen Bohannon!!
They do ten episodes a season! Ton did 26! Hardly the same thing.
There’s no doubt that’s true but it’s more complicated than that too.
1. Tom was 20 years younger so the 18 hour days are a little easier.
2. Because they did 26 a year the shoots were by necessity less complicated, meaning they spent less time on each shot and most episodes would have had less shooting days
3. When you do 26 not all scenes/episodes are going to get your best effort, again by necessity. When you do 10 you gotta give it your all every time.
4. Let’s say they shoot 10 in 5 months on Star Trek and 26 in 10 months on Smallville… that means Anson has to find other work, he’s paid by the day/episode. Whereas Tom has the luxury of almost year round employment.
The one doesn't invalidate the other. It's not a pissing contest.
@@patd0 You mean the stars don't get a slice of the Star Trek Merchandise with their faces on it?
@@seanstoyroom7274lol oh man. I hope Anson was able to work that into his deal, he must have had a little leverage when they came to him with the spin-off. They should have “before” and “after” action figures for Pike… what kid wouldn’t want both?
GREAT ACTOR
Lead chef maybe. They treat him like the red headed step child. He needs ALL the story lines
He’s simply NOT THE LEAD in SNW. Yeah he’s got top billing but he’s never used outside of him cooking for everyone he’s never the focal point of an episode which is so disappointing, because that’s what people wanted. Pike as captain.
