i definitely think spot is gonna be a variant of miles. theres a scene in the trailer that shows them infront of a screen with someone wearing a purple suit that reminds me of his uncles suit the prowler. so i think that that miles couldve taken over as prolwer after he died and hes either helping them or this miles turns to spot somehow
I think that's just Spiderman 2099 with a different lighting infront of the trio.
Either that, or he was a victim of Kingpins machine and miles failed to save him, so he’s mad at the spider people
He may be a joke in the comics but I think he'll be at dangerous threat in the movie

Devils advocate, I think Spider Punk will be anti Spider force since they are an exclusive group who pick and chose which spiderpeople can join (not inviting miles) I think him and Miles dynamic will be similar to like your cool older brother that your crush likes, you admire him but youre jealous at the same time and feel like youre in his shadow

Hot take; I think spot will be variant of Peter Parker, closest to the one who died that Miles met and in first movie at the beginning, maybe instead of dying, he mentored a variant of Miles in his universe and that Miles died and Peter “cracked” and became spot to protect more people across the multiverse.
