2012 Yamaha SE ATV Rollout Event - Glamis Dunes

Once again we found ourselves lucky enough to be invited to Yamaha's annual Special Edition ATV rollout at the Glamis dunes in Southern California to test out the 2012 Raptor 700R and YFZ450R.

I'm 15 and i ride my dads 700r when I'm not riding my 500, so don't be too timid over it being "too fast" for you unless your new to quad riding. If your not looking into upgrading the performance of your quad and just leaving stock, I would go with the 700r. But if your going to upgrade it in the future, I would go with the 450r. My cousins did some work to theirs, and now it beats my dad and uncles 700r's. Hope this helps, and which ever quad you go with, you will have fun riding it!

the yfz450r is really slow on sand my ltr smoke it but the the regular yfz450 is a lot faster than yfz450r but just on sand.

are going to be trail riding, dune riding, track riding, or a mixture? If mixture get 450r, if track get 450r, if tral riding get 700r, if dune riding you could go either way.

I cann't decied between 700r or 450r wich is better my friend's say that 700r is better beause it's parts are cheper but I think it's toofast for me I am 16 years old please reply soon
