hii. your locs look so healthy and nice. do you brush your locs to prevent lint being in them? and if you do, do you think that brushing locs at 7 months is a good idea or should i wait till they’re more mature?

Hi! Thank you so much! 🫶🏾
Yesss I brush to make them feel soft and remove any surface level lint. I only started doing this in the past year or so and don’t do it very often. I don’t think it makes a huge difference tbh but it’s fun to do 🤣 so you’re not missing out on much lol
I can’t say for sure not knowing what yours look like. But I think the texture/maturity matters more than the timeframe. Do you feel like they’re really compressed/tightly coiled/won’t unravel or comb out easily? If so you can try it. Maybe gently test it out on just a few locs. But if you’re still struggling with unraveling I’d say to wait a little longer 💕
