    I put a Bernard Edwards and Anthony Jackson spin on Anita Wilson's Total Praise. The result was a combo sounding like a Chic and Luther ballad (think "At Last I Am Free" with "A House Is Not a Home"). It worked!

    Love how you’re breaking down how to use the major scales

    2 I love just how the major scale can be so colorful in a song. Remember everybody scales aren't just exercises they definitely expand vocabulary when explored

    Jermaine, my name is Greg and I have been playing bass since 2018. I have had three bass guitar teachers , I like your style and technique. Your videos encourage me and inspire me. I have eight bass guitars, two or five string and the rest of four string . From Marcus Miller bass to Ibanez is what I have. Keep doing videos you are doing, I do play for a church. It’s more orchestra style music but I love what you do. The place where I’m at I’m trying to challenge myself to do More full and riffs . Andrew Gouche is it killer bass player and Marcus Miller to me you’re up there with them, again, keep making more videos.

    Awesome stuff man. Very impressive how you can break concepts down to a beginner/intermediate bassist and its not overwhelming!

    😂 JMorgan said "most people SUCK at playing ballads, when they are at the beginner and intermediate stages." Man I laughed so hard! I would definitely fall into that category.

    Hey Jermaine! As a newer player, could you by chance share some thump and pluck patterns you use frequently? I feel like my slap is in a rut lol.

    Hello Jemaine, nice video and good ideas, but maybe i am missing something.. It seems to me that the song is in F sharp, not c sharp.,, Did you jump a string by accident ? Or are you seeing your harmony differently than i?

    • @JermaineMorganBass
      @JermaineMorganBass  Год назад +1

      The song is definitely in the key of C sharp . Please notice that I said I was starting on the four. The 4 of C Sharp is F sharp…
