Seems balanced and fair. Although I will admit it’s easy to be swayed if you’re not firm on your knowledge or beliefs. If you’re a person who wants to please others and fit in, it is a challenge to be around a majority of others who don’t share your aqeedah. And it will cause you to question your own…but if you’re firm and not of a weaker disposition, then in sh Allah you’ll be fine.
There are many atharis at Azhar though. Some of the lecturers are athari, and some are even salafi. Moreover, they do not force you to be ash'ari, as they consider atharis ahlus sunnah.
This is called true knowledge.. He talked the truth.. Made clear falsehood and also showed where to draw the line keeping in mind commonsense and brotherhood of this ummah.
@@redman1300 That's how all the good sheikhs are akhi... They don't abandon the madhabs... Here in India the prevalent hanafi madhab is taught but followed with giving priority to the way of ahlul hadees.... Read the books I sent you.. Inshallah

The shaykh is ahlul hadeeth but he reads from all madhabs.

Is the Shaykh a Muhaddith...? In some of my books there's Ahadeeth authenticated by Mustafa Al Adaawi I'm not sure if he the same person.
Yes the Shaykh is a muhaddith. He has studied Hadith from Shaykh Muqbil in Yemen. And yes he is the same person as in your books akhi.
