+Vic Stefanu - World Travels and Adventures Hi Vic thanks for sharing.. Have you been to Nicaragua?? it's amazing beautiful place along with the people.. must see must go, food is awesome.. go Vic!!
+Mauricio Gomez I have been to Guatemala and I am planning a tip through Central America starting from Mexico.. I will definitely go to Nicaragua, looking forward to it..
Another excellent video - great to see places like a market which really gives you a feel of the place. I believe Vanuatu was known as New Hebrides when I was much younger.
Thank you Vic Stefanu for sharing the Vanuatu central market port villa. This year we are planning to travel to south pacific Islands, therefore, watching your World Travels Adventures will give us some idea of where to go for eating and sight seeing! I am incredibly inspired!
Thanks, Vic! We love food markets and have been to quite a few via your videos as we cook our way around the world from our home kitchen. We are going alphabetically, so we recently saw you in Uruguay :) We hope you are doing well and see you around the planet!
I really enjoy your knowledgeable commentary...it is obvious that you do thorough preparation for each visit...have you given any thought to adding commentary to many earlier videos which only have background sound..
+talps Thank you for your wonderful comments. Yes, I am planning on going back to some earlier videos and of adding an intro with my comments. Unfortunately, I can only publish a video per day (maximum) and first I must finish all the videos that are in line from my world tour first...
I stayed last week 6 days in Port Vila. Every there were much more people and tables of fruits and vegetables. It was very difficult to walk !!! At what time did you visited the Market Vic Stéphanu ??
+Vic Stefanu - World Travels and Adventures ok if you say it. I heard that only the Ni Vanuatu people are allowed to sell, but in Nouméa, there are people from différent ethnies working....
+Vic Stefanu - World Travels and Adventures thankful I'm from the kingdom of Tonga ,but I have mate's from Vanuatu ,all the best and god be with you V.stefanu !
@VicStefanu...this non traveler would like to ask a world class traveler/historian/videographer a question. Would you advise travelers to convert to local currency Use credit/debit card? Quickly, I am not sophisticated enough to make a conversion off the top.
+Jay Young Hi Jay, if I had a choice between a credit or a debit card, I would definitely use the debit card. Credit cards carry very heavy fee for getting money [in advance] in local currencies and in general, debit cards are less expensive.. During my world tour, one of the main sources of expenditure was exactly this, the fee using my debit card for getting local currencies at the ATM machines.. I would estimate that 3-4% of the total money that I spent was attributed to using the debit card but this is something I had accounted for (and which was unavoidable)..
Hi We live in Port Vila , they were oranges not grapefruit and what you called lettuce was Chinese cabbage . We only get what is in season throughout the year as the seasons change. If you would have asked the ladies in the stalls you would have got the info right. Good video but bad research.
vanuatu is a cannibalistic and poor country. and is a country that supports terrorist and separatist acts. many youtube videos have been reported for discussing this terrorist-supporting country.
Its clean and spacious. Thanks for showing the markets.
