Mohnish has finally convinced Guy of the benefits of talking his book. These companies they are holding in India / Turkey are superb. Good they are educating others.
It might help studying a reverse phenomenon. How NSE (a relatively new stock trading exchange in India) took away the bulk of the market share from an earlier incumbent BSE (a relatively old stock trading exchange in India).
Thank You SumZero. Always Very interesting to listen to your podcasts. Awaiting for more. Listening o these great podcasts, Really makes me improve my patience each passing day & do Nothing with my portfolio & leave it as it is.
Looking at his long-term returns it looks like he has roughly equaled the s and p 500. I don't know if that is before fees, but it doesn't look as though his investing insight know really adds any value (other than his bank account).
I finally realized that guys like this are just rich trust fund kids who are bored and decided they wanted to be seen as some sort of guru like their idols
I think so the Indian energy exchange volumes are down as it has traditionally had large volumes of cheap coal energy rather than compared to now is more costly thanks to non affordability of the oil and reasonable priced renewables so i think so due to which their volumes are flat. (That’s my speculation and I don’t know it’s true or not so … due your own research)
Volumes are flat due to the coal becoming expensive. However the management have been on their toes. They have ventured into carbon exchange , will be going into coal exchange and are doing really well in the gas exchange. Its a sure shot multibagger from where I see it with 90 percent probability.
it might be an idea to spend a little money on production values, your background & the sound for this vid is not great compared to other similar content on youtube
In this aspect, Mohnish has marched far ahead of Guy by many miles. Although you can see Guy is still a work in progress (we all are), he actually has improved quite a lot over the years.

Interesting parallel between stock exchanges and energy exchanges.

I guess Guy was right -- CS did go to zero less than a month after this video was posted.

Guy is not arrogant.
