I love it! I also love watching people learning as they go. One hint you may or may not want to try is putting your white further away from the rocky shore & blow both away from & towards them for a more foamy effect & better control of the design. Really fun piece & I love how the stickers ended up circling the abyss!
I would love to see a white one with sand. And the waves washing up to the sand. It would be so pretty. You could use a dark blue at the top then a Caribbean blue then the white waves. Love this.
I learned a lot from you who didn't know what you were doing!😅. Turned out beautifully 😍. And I really loved the center on how it does look like a dark hole. Looks like the sharks are going down in it. Fun video.
Wow, Kanella, that was really cool. Between you and Adriana at Lolivefe you come up with some fun ideas. I, too, loved the dark ""abyss" - but what I also loved was the lines in the blue resin which really look like how the bottom of the water looks. Doing the resin inside the "frame" of the wood round is such a good idea. For a first try this was very successful!
This is so beautiful it's a cool idea and you did fantastic for the first, time can't, wait to see the next one I'm about three hours away from the Pacific Ocean 🌊
Kanella, this is so cool looking. Now I will have to try it. So far all I have done is coasters so this is going to be a challenge. And I am looking forward to it.
Hi. Me again!💙💙😁 Artresin has a great video with a resin artist teaching how to make " geodes ". She shows how to arrange rocks/glass or whatever on dry board. I've used this method several times with great results. Just depends what I'm working on. My first time I redid composition 4 times. Lol. Anyway...just trying to help. You're a cautious adventurer. 👍🏻😊
I Love this and yes, please do a white one. I resin all the time and it looks great. Now if my blow out pours will only start to look as half as good as yours I will be happy camper.
Hi Kanella, are you sure you haven’t done this before 🤣, just teasing. This piece is sincerely beautiful. You did a fantastic job! Thanks 🙏 for taking us along with you, as you learn and explore, this type of resin art. I’m looking forward to the white one now. Love and best wishes, for you and your family ♥️🙏💐💐💐💐
As always Kanella… thanks for sharing, and sharing your learning 😊🥰 it shows EVERYONE that we all have to start somewhere at a point in time 😍. The piece is lovely 🦊❤️
Kanella, you did wonderfully for your first! Trust that you are a pro, you got this. Practical tips, rince and dry the rocks first, they put dust and sand into the resin, remember your base black will darken your water blue, and pipettes work better than sticks for placing thin lines. Great job!
I've thought those wooden pieces could make a really cute porthole view! I wonder what you would see looking through a porthole on a cruise ship? 🛳 It turned out great!! 🌊 You did an incredible job for your first time!! 👏👏
That looks absolutely fabulous! I know you think you used too much white, but i think it was the right amount as it looks like the water really churns up near the rocks. Magnificent!
Nice job for you first time! Looks beautiful and yes definitely less is more when it comes to making waves. You can also use a torch to make pretty frothy waves and make the waves more sparse as well. Can’t wait to see what else you find out
*Stunning* Kanella ! Waves surging, marine life swimming, rich ocean colours and just the right amount of "rocks" instead of beach sand - your *Abyss* is beautifully designed and created👏👏👌
It’s beautifully! Love the dark hole in the middle. There was no doubt it was going to turn out perfect. I have the sea life stickers, I just haven’t used them yet 🦈
Kanella that is so beautiful. I think your waves look great, I don't think you put too much white. Thank you for taking us along with you on your discovery journey. You did great.
From how the blue bit turned out, I feel like you could make some really pretty eye/iris designs too with rich browns and golds with flashes of greens and that sort of thing.. 😊
Fascinating watching it evolve. Very clever and very effective. Well done for your first attempt especially in front of an audience. Take care, be safe. 💕 Dorset, UK
