Our society is screwed. I'm a Broncos fan, but this is insane, to get even one week, let alone 8 week suspension for that. I'm even considering is it worth even continuing to be a supporter of rugby league if this is the level of stupidity the game has sunk too.

I come from a different era ( 57 year old). My parents emigrated to Oz when I was 8. It was the mid 70's. I copped everything under the sun, as did the other new immigrants , heard it all. But I was great friends with many aboriginal boys and girls, and they copped it too. I played this great game in Oz and the UK ( where I live now). There's no place for this nonsense around sport , a workplace or in a pub. That's agreed. But 8 weeks seems harsh to me. Others see it differently.
