Moving Firewood

Moving a basket of firewood from under the shelter to the porch using the Kubota L3400DT (standard shift). A basket of seasoned wood is at the L3400's lift limits. It gets a little precarious while traveling on our uneven ground.

I bet you’re using a lot of fire wood. It sure has been a cold winter so far.

Yep, when it’s cold like this takes a lot of wood to help heat this place. The furnace is still running pretty regularly. 40° or above, the furnace, hardly runs with the wood burner burning wood. It’s a fireplace insert, not nearly as efficient as a free standing stove.
