      Nadia, are you ordering Suzie's products to start off?? If so, you are one lucky woman as it seems the best on the market and has the slow setting option. Her whole collection is easy on the eye too (so pretty). 😊😊

    The nice thing about doing these with acrylic is that you can paint anything on top as dark and opaque as you'd like since you're not curing! Thanks for your expertise- I think I can speak for everyone here that you've taught us a lot, and certainly over the past 16 months!!

    I use this method on my Kiss press on already polished nails… thank you for helping me figure out why I had a bubble in some of my nails… it was because I was not using enough acrylic.
    I find I rather have too much acrylic and clean up the sides and under the nail than too little acrylic which forms an annoying bubble.
    I prefer to place my acrylic directly on the nail but I may try your exact method. Thank you again!!

    I did this technique today and had a lot of acrylic on the tip of my finger under the false tip. Did I have too much acrylic when I applied the tip? No acrylic came out from the cuticle area so I assumed I applied the right amount but had a lot at the tip of my nail in a bulge. What did you do to get rid of the extra acrylic or did you just leave it?

I'd really love if you could do a video on different ways you could take these off, especially if you could potentially "save" the tips. I feel like if there was a way to safely take them off and potentially save them, you'd get more uses out of just one set! I'm not sure if there is a way to do that but I'd love to see you try!

    • @NailCareerEducation
      @NailCareerEducation  3 года назад +2

      Actually Kayleigh is it’s a great question but to be totally honest with you there is no way to take them off and save the tips. Simply because if you file them you have to file through the tip to get to the bottom adhesion layer in this case the acrylic. Secondly if you soak them off unfortunately the acetone will dissolve the tip before it gets to the bottom layer

    How do the nails stick to the nail stand? I saw it years ago that people said to use hot glue gun and the glue pops off, but it only melted and very well adhered to the nail tip. Tried sticky/wall/poster tack but it didn't stick to the stand and it left tiny bits on the nail as if it was glitter that got everywhere. Double stick tape didn't keep the nail fixed, brush work would still move it around. hmm...

    It literally takes me two days to build my nails. I mess around, but i don't know why it takes so long, i don't know how to speed it up.
    I must say i have OCD, and I'm a perfectionist, i think that's the problem.
    I'm starting to dread doing them because it takes so long.

      You’re not alone. Building nails in sculpting takes a lot of time in learning how to do it correctly. These nails are certainly not the same as a perfectly custom built nail that takes years of experience to learn, but they are certainly a great option

      Oh good! I definitely don't have OCD, but it takes me three times longer to do my dominant hand than my non-dominant hand... and sometimes I have to do the sculpting one day, painting a base colour the next and nail art (usually stamping) the day after - partly because I can't sit in the chair for very long because of my knee problems! No idea how nail techs get a set of nails done in an hour!!

    I've been doing these kinds of nails for several months now I use glue tho but my question is how do you take them off without damaging your nails. Mine look awful maybe it's the glue? I've never tried any other way except for base gel but had no luck staying on. I've soaked them to but my nails are tortured

    Does the odorless monomer contain less nasties in the ingredients, ie MMA than the regular monomer? Should we wipe with acetone after to remove sticky layer? Thanks so much
