Rocars are found in every Rio Samba bateria and produce a dense groove base. The light jingling or 'white' sound is the counterpart of mid and bass sounding surdos and repiniques.
The aluminium frame is standard and has a handle grip on each side. Some sambistas like wrapping some fabric around the handles, that may make them more comfortable for you to hold, especially if you play over a longer period.
Jingles made of zinc sheet have the authentical 'dirty' sound which makes every sambista´s heartbeat go up at once. Top sound but dirty fingers (abrasion).
