This symphony is striking (among other points) by the unity of its first movement.
The main theme reminds me "Les Adieux" quite a lot
the first mvt? It also has a theme that is directly borrowed from Haydn's own 'Farewell'.... I guess classical composers liked goodbye themes ;)
Known for his creation of the string quartet,Haydn was also friends with Mozart, and his most well known student was Behtovin.
Schitterende uitvoering!
litle has Haydn to envy Mozart here
I do niot think so. These two composers had quite diffeerent languages. There are mood expressions that you find in Meart which you do not find in Haydn.
Gérard Begni ...and there are things in Haydn (such as the intensive development of motifs) that you do not find in Mozart.
They both admired each other's music and professed to learn from it.
@@gerardbegni2806 now wtf is a meart
Timetag for Finale is off, should be 24:10
the best mov. the 1st
Para ti',para mi el II.-
