Heisenberg represents that feeling in all of us. The feeling of no boundaries, fearlessness, and absolute power. But he is also an example of when these things are abused and get out of hand.

There should be very sophisticated intellectual themes that bother themselves with the blight of our endeavor and the intricacy of human emotions stirred into the film adaptation of Team Fortress 2. Why we wage war, why we even play video games, so on.

I just turned 50 on 1 February and this speech by Walt came rushing back to me. I've lived exactly the same way to the point where my mental health has now deteriorated and I can barely function. I hope I don't have to get a cancer dx to finally get through this. Life is far, far too short (or not short enough for me, atm) to be scared of everything. I've gotta learn to kick that bastard in the teeth.

But you know what? Ever since my diagnosis, I sleep just fine. What I came to realize is that fear, that's the worst of it. That's the real enemy. The beauty of this scene is that it is the Truth. I discovered this in my own way. Years in my life i spent thinking about the future, working hard in hopes of having a better future, and i always used to do things for a better future. When sth happened in my life ( privacy), that questioned the time i would remain alive on this planet, everything changed. All the burden, uncertainities and load which i was carrying in my heart and mind, started to disappear. The present moment became important to me. It is clear why Walt had found some peace and therefore mentions that ever since cancer, he sleeps just fine. Because, all the uncertainties and troubles are gone with this new found truth that he doesn't have much time. ( That's why he mentioned the part regarding sleeping fine). Much burden goes away from life when you have uncertainty when you will die within a certain time. Therefore, in the end, about BB, i want to mention that Walt lived more in last two years of his life (bb starts with his 50th birthday and ends on 52nd), than his whole 50 years of life before that. So, whoever is reading this, understand that, it is not the years in your life that count, but the LIFE in those years. Future is unknown, present is what you should try to enjoy. I don't know when will be my last day or night, but however much time i have, i will try to make it worth on this world.

I can completely relate to Walt. This is one of the reasons I love this character. Of course he fucks up but the idea of a man just stopping to give any fucks and does what wants is liberating.
The show is genius cause it lets us experience how liberating it feels for Walt but also shows us the dangers of it.
It doesn't preach to us about it being good or bad. It just shoes us what happens. It's just life. Everything has pros and cons. Walt died in a state of satisfaction (says so in the script) but at a big cost.
The show sinply shows the complexity of life, as all grrat storytelling does.
