Hey Sara! Just had a quick question: I am in my first year of computer engineering, and my plan is to get into space field as a Computer Hardware Engineer...what is the scope of this?

    1) Ask questions
    2) Documentation
    3) Don't give up, keep going!
    4)Relationships are key
    5) No one knows what they are doing. It happens, no matter the experience or proficiency, there's still something tough to fix.

If you have a few years of experience in engineering, here are some questions to ask:
Do I get a share of the profits?
Do I get regular bonuses for projects completed on time?
Do I get stock options in the company?
Is the company expanding, and/is there room for rapid career growth?
Is the company unlikely to be sold, and outsourced or down sized to increase the bottom line?
If you answer NO to more than two of these questions, stop what you are doing, and go find a new job.
Lots and Lots of $$$$ can be made just by working for the right company. Just because you start with a company,
does not mean it's the "right company" for your career and bank/retirement account.
And always think long-term; where will you be at 30, 40 and 50+ if you stay with this company.
