@@ThatAwkwardMom I think Aldi is like $15 for delivery, but Walmart and Kroger have free curbside pickup. They get your order together, you pull up in the special spot, and they load it in the car. At least in my area. I'm in Tennessee. I still usually do my own shopping, though. I have to be gluten free, and Aldi is the best place for that, but I don't like doing their delivery. It pains me to pay for it, and the one time I did, the delivery guy brought my order in a grubby plastic grocery basket, plopped it up on my island, and unloaded it all there, one piece at a time. No neat line of nice, clean bags like I see in RUclips videos. Ugh. This was during the era when I was wiping groceries down as they came in anyway (double whammy health issues), but still.
So, when I was a kid I had a Garfield poster that said, "I'll procrastinate tomorrow. " I didn't realize how much I would take that to heart when I was younger but I fight those words all the time as an adult. Maybe I'm not as alone as I thought I was? Thank you for all the tips and tricks your sharing, along with the motivation, knowledge and wisdom on this process. I think (hope) it will help me keep a cleaner house!
This is an awesome video. Short and to the point. People (me) get so overwhelmed with long detailed videos and you made it seem super simple to finally start making a control journal. I've been doing lite minimalist and flylady and only been thinking of the control journal conceptually and would love to actually make one now. Can't wait to see how you fit your zone cleaning into everything, great job!!
I try to make things simple because I also don't do well with a lot of details. So I teach others the way I would want to be taught! I'm glad it's helpful. I have to be honest with you, I have not perfected the zones yet. I'm still learning myself but when I do I will surely make a video!

So many years ago I bought a book called Overcoming Procrastination. I had to move for my job a couple few times and every time I would pack my books and it was always in my “I should read that” list. After about 5 years I realized that I was never going to read it. So my conclusion was it might be a bestseller but nobody actually read it. 😆

I did Flylady years ago and found the journal very helpful. I added a page for plumber, and other repair people. Also added a section for monthly things. One of my July chores was to get the oil tank filled. That's when the price was lowest. I stopped because of so many emails and Flylady was crying a lot on her daily vids.
