I love That Awkward Mom! She's got a great sense of humor and good common sense. She helped me affirm my decision to really work the FlyLady routines again, as well as zone cleaning. I like what you've done with yours, and you have inspired me to customize my own! Here's to That Awkward Mom, you, me, and all the FlyBabies, and our clean houses!

I just came across the FlyLady system last week and watched tons of videos on the system. I love the simplicity of your organization system and how you adapted it to your needs. I have decided to use a small ring binder and a separate clipboard that is placed strategically so that my household can see what needs to be done and help with chores. I swap out the relevant zone list to the clipboard when needed. I liked what you said that calmed me down, and it was that some weeks you don't get to do all the tasks assocated with a zone. I guess we can pick up where we left off the next time the zone comes up again. Thank you.

I think your plan sounds great and I’m glad you found my video helpful. Definitely go easy on yourself and make the system work for you. The FlyLady always wants us to be kind to ourselves and just go with how things work from day to day. No pressure just a little encouragement. Best of luck and happy homemaking.💞

I just recently learnt about the Flylady. I have watched lots of videos on RUclips, also got her book "Sink Reflections". But I still find it very confusing and overwhelming. It was nice to see your video today, you explained all of it very well. I will take a look at your other videos and subscribed to your channel. I am with you on those digital timers that don't stop that annoying noise when the time is up, and you have to run to it to stop it. I started with the sink about 2 weeks ago and do some more cleaning and dusting. I like it already. But I want to write it all down to have those list. Thank you so much! :)

Sounds like you are doing great! My biggest tip is just to keep it simple - create some daily, weekly, and monthly routines and be kind to yourself 🥰

A sunday prep page is a great idea. I really also have to make that. And great that you do that together.

Thanks, I’m so glad you liked it! Sunday Prep is definitely something I “lead”, but I’ve found that telling my family that’s what I’m doing and asking for help, gets everyone aware and helping along with me. Babysteps 😁😉

Love the low profile of the clipfolio instead of the control journal binder- I find myself not wanting to use the binder because it’s so clunky and then also trying the app so it’s less paper but I love writing and checking things off! 🤣 maybe I’ll find a good balance of the two!

Yes! That’s what I realized too. The clipfolio gives me the satisfaction of checking things off, but in a lighter, more streamlined system. Good luck finding something that works better. And thanks for watching.
