CINQUE TERRE: Visiting without any tourists

We explore the whole of Cinque Terre in two days, without any tourists!
How is this possible you might ask? Easy, we visited during the off season in December during the winter season.
There were definitely pros and cons to visiting in the Winter, which I'll go into more detail on over on my blog, but generally it was great to experience the area without the swarms of people you get in the summer - you just need to be prepared for not a lot to be open!
Cinque Terre has always been a popular tourist destination along the Italian Riviera, more recently its fame has reached new heights thanks to the new Disney movie 'Luca'.
We stayed in the town of Riomaggiore and completed the hike across all five towns in two days, to give us plenty of time to take in the scenery.
