I dont have the original to compare the vibration/bump dampners but it doesn't feel cheap at all. Very stirdy Mic.As far as sound I compared it against the Shure SM58 and it sounded preety good. For daily podcast/you tube or even live singing on a budget this will sound acceptable and wont let you down but lots of mics to choose from out there.
they do have the dampener and i just spent 1.5hours checking a copy JUST like this and after that, without an original beside me i couldn't tell if its fake or not. i also didn't have the scale with me as original will be little heavier than copy. Another thing i learned is that the bag is smaller for copy lengthwise and inside material is not so smooth and soft as original would have. Also the microphone holder, although it has SHURE written on it, its smooth for the fake where original has texture on it. Almost feels like since they moved manufacturing in Mexico, during the day, hey make real SHURE and during the night they make these copy versions.
The Real Vs Fake is simply tested by holding it, tons of handling noise on the "copy" version and only slightly handling noise on the real one. I use 2 Aliexpress ones since for some reason they work on my acoustic guitar better than the original which I use for the vocals, I simply changed the color on the band of the microphone so I know which one is the copy and real one when setting them up. These are for personal use only not to be sold.
Yes of course any copy Mic's are only for personal use and testing not to be sold as the real thing but many do unfortunately. Amateurs wont have a clue.Handling noise can be tough to notice sometimes as handheld mics are known for that.
@@Microphones_Matter Yes for the fake ones the noise is very distinct, no blue and red wire at the bottom, the missing wrap protector around he wires on the xlr jack missing, the shock mount rubber is different this leads to the bigger handling noise so not only 1 thing but a few that are very different. Because of the higher handling noise I use the copies for the Acoustic guitars set on a mic stand with a bar for 2 mics close to the guitar. So far no issues with the copies and the sound comes out great from having 2 mics used instead of 1, the mic bar is very nice as you can point one mic at the sound hole and the other mic at the 12th fret and get some nice stereo sound which these cheap mics. It's too bad that some dirt bags are selling these copies for the price of the real ones.
i had to repair mine, it was wired wrong and buzzing, pin 1 and 2 where bridged and caused buzzing noise, had to disolder pin 1 and resolder cable on pin 2, than i briged [on 1 with the chassis screw on xlr connector
yeah it is pure luck with these. I just bought them to test them and see what they really offer soundwise. They look fine and someone that doesnt know about microphones can easily be tricked into buying one.

These are preety good even though that they are copies as they are not the cheapest versions but 40 Euros.

On the way cheaper versions yes but some can surprise you. Of course dont expect the real thing when you buy it. I bought them out of curiosity and I don't have to use them but some work fine.

I finished as an advanced musical Classical Piano Student. I use Austrian Audio OC818, Neumann TLM 193,49 and 103 for music. I wont use any of these mics for that. Anyone would know Aliexpress mics at this level lack the wide range of sound capture so that means you will lose 35% of the natural sound of the instrument. Only mics that I was surpised in Aliexpress are the BaiFeiLi mics but even those have quite high noise floor. Their Neumann U47 are not bad at $500. You have to go by your wallet or by what companies produce decent mics at low cost such as Audio Technica, Cad Microphones, Old AKG Mics may surprise you. All depends on knowledge. To end this comment I never said these Aliexpress Mics are WOW. They are OK for voiceovers and with a bit of Gate you can controll them. The Interface people use plays a big part as well.

This copy is great for studio/podcast where there is no stage noises, floor monitors, plug/unplug many times.
I have the original and could not say that yours is a copy. They made it really well. The original weighs about 280g.
Yeah these are getting better and better at making these. This one weighs 256g.
we have experimented that the fake ones break easier when they fall and they give more feedback thru the mic stands
I have seen the capsule coming off it's place easily in a few of these.
