I think you should dual boot for a short time to see if you like Linux if you like it then you can fully switch to Linux or if you dislike Linux you can easily switch back to windows 2. I'd recommend using Linux mint or Ubuntu for a beginner since they are the easiest to use and have a large community 3. As for a distro, I personally like Debian. It's very easy to install software on and has little bloat. Fedora, Mint, and Ubuntu are also easy options for beginners. I think you can really learn Linux from anywhere, but a simple Google search should find you a tutorial with the information you need. Good luck on your Linux journey!
