God bless you Stacey, Gary, Marge, and all those who helped build this lovely home for Doug’s mother. It has been enjoyable to watch this journey. I would like to see the finished and furnished inside. (Me and a few thousand followers of Doug and Stacey!)
What a trip it was seeing Mom's cabin being built, can't wait to see the final product. From Doug's injuries to all the blood sweat and tears , exhaustion, all you have done an amazing job, I applaud 👏👏👏👏👏👏 each and every one of you for a job well done.
That's awesome! Well done everyone! My husband is a general contractor and he's renovated countless houses, both for business and our own homes. He has a Nehemiah anointing for renovation and restoration. We are living in one of the most beautiful fruits of his labor now in Southern VA. God bless you Doug and Stacy and mom!
Your mom is fortunate to have you and Stacy and your wonderful friends. This morning my husband and I were commenting we also have a wonderful son, Scott, you may not remember but you met him at the conference. He is building a homestead with us old folks while he works a full time job, part time for me in a business I own and another part time business of his own while being a single dad. Not all moms are so fortunate. God bless you all.
You've built your mom a home the grear grandkids will grow old in...I know your mom is grateful to you...and Gary and all the rest that have helped build this amazing home 🏡
TOP NOTCH. This house is incredibly beautiful. How unfortunate that you injured your ribs. But it didn't stop you. I see you working up a storm! So glad you have a lot of people pitching in to help. Teamwork is a wonderful thing. I love the aerial view which shows how close your mom is to your house. That's terrific. Seeing a son doing something so caring for his mom brings a tear to my eye. God bless you and your family.
Gary's contributions have been phenomenal and how your mom benefited from everyone's effort. Hope the unplanned delays and inconveniences were worth it after seeing the final product.
Been there from the start enjoying every moment. Broken ribs brought a tear to my eyes. Dedicated you have been throughout. Great job. Your Mom must be very proud of you and Stacey. Thankful for Gary and his wife as well as all the help you’ve had along the way. Thanks for taking us along with you. The Timelapse video is priceless.
I've often said that I wouldn't live in a house that I built. But you have the confidence to let your mother live in one y'all built. I sir, commend you on your construction abilities. My hat is off to you and yours.
Just seeing this today as I am new to your homestead homies. Looking for a homestead with my husband now! You are such awesome people and what a wonderful thing you did for your mom. God bless you and we look forward to that ourselves. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. It is so helpful and appreciated!
Awesome video. It did go blank at the end, just music. I have so much respect for the things you have accomplished. This is the way true americans get things done. You all are amazing.
You remind me so much of my husband, with no trade schools he could do electrical, building , plumbing work computers and cell phones . I think he would be proud that I am actually doing what you and stacy are teaching me. One step at a time right ? Beautiful job on the cabin . Much love
I been trying to follow all the videos, most of the time I watch them when I'm working, like right now, (don't tell my boss) but is so incredible that people come and help, become friends and show humanity, is hope fir the world. Thank you.

How nice it will be for the great grandkids and grand adults to say “let’s walk over to grandmas for cake.” To be able to sit down and have a chat and not have go far from dad/grandads. Great job to all involved, a massive task, a labour of love. Well done to all involved.
Thank you Doug & Stacy for taking us on this journey with you. I enjoyed every minute. Praying Doug’s ribs are completely healed. I love how you put the video together. Praying you get some needed rest and caught up on your chores. Thanks again.
Thank you Doug Stacy Gary Marge your children and grandkids and to everyone else I missed. Thank you so much for sharing this journey of your mom's Log Cabin build. I have truly enjoyed every step of the way. This cabin was built to last for a long time thanks to all of you. I am proud of all of you and I know your mom is too. Does Gary and Marge live off-grid like you and Stacey do.
All of your videos are very educational as well as inspiring, not only for the skills you show, but for the "I can and can do it with MY own two hands "( and Gary ) God Bless you all this Thanksgiving and once again... your Mom raised a wonderful son.
Impressive montage. Those of us that watched from the beginning, all the way through the summer would really love to have closure by seeing the finished home, up close, like you did all through. It doesn't matter if you lost audio!

Months well spent. Beautiful labor of love. Your mamma must be the proudest mamma in the world! My most favorite parts was when everyone came together to help and also seeing your and Stacy's friendship with Gary and Marge.
A few highlights on this journey for me were, letting your grandson help, Gary flanked by the ladies with the big guns, and finally, a home that is a real work of art, no, work of heart.

Been there from the start enjoying every moment. Sorry we never got to see the end of the build. I bet Doug's mom must be very happy. I think Gary lost a lot of weight during this build. I praise all those who helped, Doug, Stacey, grand children, their son, Marg, Gary and to who ever else I may have missed.
"Wow !" that was amazing. I watched all the videos but seeing it all together , WOW, just amazing what a family will do for their Mom. God bless you all.

Awww Doug, I can truly sympathize with you. I’m sitting here watching with three fractured ribs. Sorry brother, that’s rough with all you had to do. Great job on the cabin. 👍🏻
I loved this build. Blood, sweat and tears indeed. I picked up some good info, as well as enjoying watching y'all work together. Man, what a whirlwind!

I've watched you build this lovely home from day one the last day I saw was 85. Thank you for this video. Can't wait to see the end. You and Gary have worked so hard. I hope Mom is happy there..
A truly Herculean effort by a whole community. But especially by Garry and Doug. I'm so happy for y'all, and for your mom. You were mighty hard on yourself at times Doug. I understand the stress you were under and was almost relieved when you finally said you were going to take it a little easier on the social media front. Awesome job by everyone involved. A little piece of paradise for mom. 💕💕
Oh! This video reminded of SO much. I have learned somfin. Remember the crawdad, the good people, awesome time spent working towards a most beautiful HOME. Thank you.

While watching the timelapse it brought back so many memories of the other video's. Thinking about your down time and how valuable Gary must have been.
