1. When angry 2. When you don’t have all the facts 3. When someone is venting 4. During conflict 5. When someone is going through grief or a difficult situation. 6. When tensions are high and emotions are running wild. 7. When faced with gossip or negativity. 8. When someone is expecting an emotional reaction from you.
I am a big Brene Brown fan, but this is VERY repetitive. Good information, but it could/should have been a five minute video. It was so frustrating that I gave up close to the end.
@laurencecartron7840 to a point, but I didn't need nearly that much. If it was what others needed, great. I have listened to a number of her talks and have learned a lot, but not because of seemingly endless repetition, but rather salient points powerfully--and humorously--made with memorable examples. I am an upper school teacher, and know repetition to be tricky because it can lead to boredom and disinterest which was my response to this. But, again, if it worked for others, great.
I've watched this video multiple times already.

Agree
I needed the repetition. 😄
Human beings need repetition to learn.
