This is amazing!... The Holy Spirit told me to let go of all relationships, friendships of 40yrs, people I mentored or who had mentored me and even family... I was surprised at their reactions, especially how twisted they seemed, how they could not find even one good thing to say about me, and how some became violent... But I had been raised by a narcissist who always blamed me for her misery until I became a truly silent child. Since I let go of these people I have found what the Apostle Paul labeled "CONTENTMENT IN ALL SITUATIONS" because I no longer allowed them to touch my soul, I only let the Holy Spirit have access so that CONTENTMENT from what God thought of me healed me. I discovered that only the Holy Spirit can heal/change me because only the Holy Spirit knows/sees clearly to bring that change... THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE ONLY HEALER OF THE SOUL! Psalm 23 "He restores my soul"

Thank you, whoever you are. I have a relative who does this to me, but I believe she doesn't even know what she is doing when she listens & talks & constantly asks questions. She cuts me off, as I pause for a second to continue the conversation. Tries to finish my sentences, or tries to tell me what the point of my words meant. Like she can't wait till I finish speaking so she can jump in and invalidate my feelings or concerns. You explained things so well. Lots of times, after I've had a draining conversation with her, and when I am alone, I tell myself, "stop talking to her." This has been going on for quite a long time, but as I age it is beginning to aggravate me.
