    The past week I’ve managed to leave my house and go to work for a few hours a day, get on buses and go into shops. I have felt that adrenaline rush of panic and was so tempted to run but I stayed! I can already feel my mood lifting so much🙌🏻

      Hi Sarah. That's absolutely fantastic. This is exactly how recovery works. Now it's very important you don't sink back into safety and avoidance behaviors. Keep up this new method of "going towards" until you establish it as habit 🙏🏾🙏🏾😊

      @@FromPanictoParis thank you! I still fear that panic and think of ways to escape incase it gets worse but I’m determined to keep going into these situations👊🏻

    Hey. Did u also have Palpitations, and fear of heart damage. What was your most scary symptom

      Yes I had all of this it crippled my Life. My scariest symptom was the heart palpitations. Fear I'll go into cardiac arrest. After millions of Panic Attacks it finally clicked with me that my heart was totally fine. Anxiety and panic will never cause heart attack. NEVER.

    Did you have problems switching off and relaxing to watch TV, films or to read a book?
    I've been recovering these last few years with the help of Claire Weeks books and other youtubers. i no longer feel the world is about to come crashing down every day, my sleep is back to normal and i'm not as negative as i once was BUT i still get stuck in overthinking, stuck in thinking loops and not being able to just relax. i can sit and try and watch something but my head just constantly goes around and around over thinking and checking if i'm relaxed then negative thoughts like "i'll always be like this" "will it ever stop"
    Looking at a few of your videos exercise is something i really need to start doing but motivation is a big problem

      Yes I could not watch TV I started to get get anxiety attacks watching horror movies, football matches, all things I used to enjoy and love. I couldn't read a book either I'd be just focused on how I "feel" that's the thing with all this Panic/anxiety we need to truly let go. With the attitude of "okay panic I'm giving in you win so go do whatever you want to me give me that heart attack , stroke or make me go crazy because I'm done Fighting you " and watch what happens. If you truly give in and stop fighting you will see huge results and you'll realize you were fighting your best friend all along. The fight or flight response is your best friend. It's not there to kill you or make you go crazy.
      Give up the fight. Give your mind some rest 💯👍🏽
      Everything will heal naturally.

    I've currently got it at the age of 19 and struggling so much any advice I'm trying to beat it. It's got so bad I don't get out the house at all I physically can't. So frustrating and I feel worthless no one understands me I'm trying my best. I feel so isolated it's been going on since I was 16 I got told it was social anxiety so was treated for that but now I've got told it's agoraphobia and it's severe. Please any help I'm so lost.

      Ive been there as well. Best thing is to start small, go as far as you can go then turn back. Continue doing this every single day. The key is consistency not how far you actually go but that you go everyday. It gets easier I promise

    Glenn, curious to ask if you had given up coffee/caffeine during your recovery process and if it’s something you can now enjoy again, after coming out of this. What are your thoughts? Thank you.

      I gave up everything 😂😂😂
      Alcohol
      Meat
      Caffeine
      I thought if i change what i put into my body I'll be magically cured lol.
      I gave up alcohol 7 years ago and still have never drank a drop but that's because life's so better without it for me personally.
      I gave up meat but i now eat fish and i love it.
      I gave up caffeine and i drink 5/10 cups of tea a day now 😂 i was never a coffee drinker.
      Giving up caffeine while anxious ? Maybe just cut down on it. If you really enjoy it why give it up.
      Don't.
      Maybe just drink less of it.

      Appreciate the response. Too much isn’t a good thing. Finding the right spot is the key I suppose.

    Glenn, I have times when the anxiety and obessions clear and I feel normal but either at night I feel unreal again or during the day the fear comes again and I wonder if I will be normal again. If you can't remember what normal feels like how can you be normal?
