- After a month-long hiatus I am back with a new logo and a new Makeup tutorial featuring my favorite palette this fall, the Naked Honey palette from Urban Decay. The ochre/honey/orange and green-golds are so flattering and also fun without overpowering my natural coloring. For me, it's the perfect compromise between whimsy and beauty. I've already filmed another disco-themed tutorial with this one so look for that sometime this month. I'm so ecstatic you're back, Cora! :3 I've been bingeing your old content from about 2012-2014 while getting ready recently, as it reminds me of what made me start getting interested in makeup and feeling all of those feelings involved- the freshness and excitement about Sugarpill mattes (and I'm so so so devastated that they discontinued Poison Plum. I have one compact left, and I'll probably hoard it for eternity.) and different uses for different products, without feeling pressured to ever buy what you talk about- which is rare in this community! I love getting ready with you and using what have come to be staples in my makeup collection and actually hitting pan, etc, and using my plus-size clothing staples/thrifting and using what I have as I watch how you've styled things as inspo, etc. :3 I can't wait to see where this new content chapter with you goes, but I'm so happy to be on this ride/journey and watch yours as we all progress and evolve as growing individuals.

You're the OG RUclipsr that got me into Urban Decay way back when. I LOVED the Naked Original and enjoy a couple other of their smaller palettes that have more color like the Feminine palette and the Mariposa palette. I remember you raving about Mushroom. Good to see you reviewing UD again!

@@vintageortacky For sure. And they do both neutrals & colors very well. I want the Naked Reloaded and Born to Run palettes so bad! I swatched both at Ulta and they are so creamy, smooth, & pigmented! Hell, I pretty much want all of the Naked palettes, hell, ALL of the palettes. lol I've tried their minty lip gloss in Fireball at Ulta and I fell in love with it. It's so pretty!

Needed to pop in here and say thank you for the tip to use UDPP from the tube and not the wand. I tried that today and it worked so well. I have tried every primer you can imagine and this is the only one that worked for more than 3 hours.
This looks amazing. I loved that it was a simple look but you added the glitter to make it pop. Simple, easy to do, thats my kind of makeup lol

I had a really hard time with this video because of all of the cuts, moment with eyeliner, glitter, etc.
I do love the foundation at the end too! I love hearing what new things you’re using! 🙂

Also, thank you for helping me determine once and for all that I have a neutral undertone to my fair skin. When you were describing how a pink-based foundation makes you look overly pink, I understood completely. For me, I find I struggle more with yellow-based foundations looking overly yellow on me, but the general concept remains the same. I prefer foundations with a straight-up beige undertone. No excess yellow or pink. I look equally ok in gold and silver (except I'm now allergic to silver jewelry--boooo!) and cool or warm toned clothes. I tend to gravitate toward rose gold or copper jewelry because it brings out the peachy-pink tones in my natural flush and lip color and bright or pastel shades in my clothes because neutrals wash me out. Too pale and they blend in with my skin and I look washed out and dull. Too dark and I look white as a sheet.

It takes a lot more time to edit in this fashion but I am so much happier with the result. I’m teaching myself Spanish so I can teach my kids someday.

My favorite color is yellow. I always get compliments when I wear yellow, especially mustardy toness like in this palette...I should want this palette, but I weirdly don't. What's wrong with me lol?

Hi Cora. When you do the close-up on the eyes could you keep your eye in the center of the frame throughout eye shadow application? Going out of frame and being too close makes me speed thru this part of the video. It's very distracting.

Some nice colors but urban decay just ain't it for shadows anymore. They haven't excited me for eyeshadows in years, which is a shame. I love you a lot but I don't find myself into your content lately because it just isn't relevant at all and it sucks cause I want to support you but maybe its just me and my change in interests and nothing to do with what you're doing at all?
