First let me say I have been a subscriber to your channel for a long time! Love the no nonsense , no hype gimmicky style some have. Now, I have been using the Defender for over 4-5 years also. However, The last time I had the Whitestone dome glass installed ( a perfect, bubble free install ) , one of the corners of the case caused the glass to lift. So, unless you slightly shifted your glass down to prevent this, Its going to get pushed up by any pressure on the outer part of the case. ( another RUclipsr Digital life, referred to that as well.) Also, What do you think of using a skin over the camera bump to avoid scratches, vs a glass protector which has been said by many to cause a image quality issue with flash reflection ( clear glass ) and some with black glass because the lens holes are covered up, instead of being open. Last question, are skins compatble with cases, or do they peel off on the sides when phone is removed from case. Thank You!.
The Otterbox case clip stops latching after 2 or 3 months. The latch is when you open the clip so you can use it as a stand, so you can watch videos. The notch that holds the latch in place wears out quickly. It happened twice on me. It will still clip to the belt. They stop staying open. I think if the latch area was made out of metal, than the open latch feature would last at least until the phone becomes obsolete.👍
@@kyletrump8025 used the original on my note4 to watch this as I finally have a 20ultra on the way and wanted to know if I could wireless charge through the new defender case.
Wireless charging works fine without the plastic defender portion, you do need a 2.4amp output charger or higher to effectively wirelessly charge, otherwise it will on/off continuously and not charge properly
My samsung galaxy note 20 5g with otterbox defender pro case won’t charge with my wireless charger. Any suggestion which should wireless charger brand would work with defender pro to charge?? Thanks
Do you leave the phone on the charger? It seems to stop charging after about 10 seconds or so for me no matter what I do. It initially charges but then stops
Defender Pro all the way. (On my Note10+) Though I would like to show off the Aura Blue color of my phone with a clear case. I sacrifice that for more protection. I haven't found a fear case that has as much protection as the Defender Pro.
What dome glass are you using on the defender?
Does the commuter work with whitestone dome glass?
I have the Commuter and Defender Pro for my S21 Ultra. Love both of them!
