I wish if you had 100 strength you could bust out of the strings that Regent uses to instakill you, then hit him for a brief moment. It'd be really fuckin cool and could even change Regent's attitude towards you to one of fear if you do the Duke Erisia quest
if etris barber dies, just go find a barber in a different area, as there are many barbers in many areas in deepwoken including buying one in the guild base
Coming back here is so crazy because they just added a lore Boss to the game, and Maestro can’t really fight Regent because he doesn’t want the Authority to rule and would rather kill himself than live under Authority rule And Maestro also does know the recent king is a prophet but like I said, he doesn’t want to kill lord regent because etris can’t fight back for themselves if the authority invades after regents death.
If you get killed by regent you should be able to tell other npcs like maestro and the authority about regents plans and start a massive war on etris to prevent the drowning

I’m really wanting a quest line where we the player tip off mystro and lure regent to the isle where mystro almost kills him but fails and it’s left to us the player to Finnish the weak regent
i have no idea why atchmage is such a little shit when it comes to expanding the game, he was asked if he was planning on adding more islands and he said “whats the point” and whats worse is that every layer after 2 has to be twice as hard apparently, but he says “noooo i dont wanna give people something more powerful then the game gets boring!!!!” which would make literally an impossible situation where you hit basic enemies 50 times to kill them
The only way a player would be able in my opinion to save etris and the world itself is to become more influencial then other factions themself and start a rebelion wich could be achived by reaching Hero reputation with high charm in every faction, from the game perspective it wont ever happen but lore whise if you are a hero in everyones eyes they will surely follow (im myself trying to get hero rep on every faction just to lorewhise be something along side of a peacewalker) becouse if your power alone is not able to wistand regent all the factions on your side would be a big help
Here's my suggestion on what the player should do, this would literally make the game much more fun. The player would have to go to Layer 2, and bring back Kennith by killing several npcs, just like you do with the Diluvan Mechanism. After that, the player would have the choice to either travel to the Eastern and Central Luminant and inform the NPCs there by having atleast 25+ Charisma. The next thing to do, would be a live event, re-surfacing Celtor by having a full server in the Depths with everybody having a Blessed Gem, and offering it to the NPCs in the Dephts trial room. You'd be sent to the Isle of Vigils after, and inform Maestro. After that, Celtor re-surfaces and you have the choice to get a new oath called 'Puppetmage.' This allows you to control enemies, just like the Mudskipper Brute. This would give an advantadge, as you will have to kill 4 bonekeepers and grip them after going through Etris. Regent then, would sink Etris halfway, but you'd have to save it by going to Minityrsa and meditating in the Valley of Heroes (Blizzard Knights won't spawn) This wll trigger the final event, being to kill the Drowned Gods as their offering already had sufficed their hunger enough. Also killing Regent and the Prophets alongside it.
go tell klaris, amorus pleeksty, akira, maestro, the first prophet, the second prophet, ethiron, the scion of ethiron, yun'shul, nestmind, drallis ehr, the hivelords, celestials, korilfiend, the ferryman unbound and the meatlord to kill the lord regent i think that should work
you only really need someone with Ironsing or Thundercall and Maestro. think this: a coordinated attack on the lord regent’s palace, where the thundercall user sends a beam of lightning into the palace, and destroys the throne. then maestro can go ham.
actually, the reason is maestro doesnt wanna intervene (beside the vigils reason, of course) because he's afraid that once the ruler of etris is gone, the authority will take over the island. (there are other reasons ofcourse, but this is the main one)
I think a really neat video would be an in depth (haha depths) video explaining what a great drowning actually is. I’ve heard that celtor didn’t happen solely due to wealth and greed and similarly to etris had a prophet involved in the drowning. I’ve seen a ss of arch saying it wasn’t just greed. Although what kinda sucks is that physically we don’t know how an island is sunk. We don’t know what causes it to happen at all. If you know anything about the actual physical causes that can be brought by the ministry PLEASE make a video on it since even half the lore hunters got no clue on the specifics. Just the vague idea that it’s a lot of dead people and islands sinking.
How about we use teleportation bell to teleport Lord Regent to some place thats really far like on top of the roof of voideye for example? Yes he would kill us but that fatass can *NOT* get up from his throne. I mean he can but even then he would have to swim ALL that way back and would have to fight so many Dread Serpents, Lionfishes and Brainsuckers.
Actually the group who are is the voidwalkers as those who walk amongst the void are the strongest. Voidwalkers aren't the knives of elyis, the knives of elyis just live in the voidheart and do missions at the order of the voidmother. Lord Regent's ability is actually able to manipulate the minds of people and bend them to their will, every oath is just a downgrade of what their power is if your getting it from a person, but if your getting it from a entity like for example silentheart, you basically have the full power.

A regent boss fight wouldn't even have to do anything with actually killing him but just weakening him to a point where you can return the king and it could lead to the warmaster oath if its ever added
There should be a special questline with positive authority rep to battle regent instead of duke erisia, and it will be like duke except for golems and bats (and servants as well) theres etrean royal guards.

idk since the game released how many years have passed IN LORE? it doesn't seem like even months... It is understandable that they aint going to expand lore as for right now due to fact THEY PROBABLY need more layers to be added. For example it's been said that the king of etris (the real one) was sent by artifact sword to the deepest layer. If we wanna replace lord regent with the reaal king we need first of all go to the layer 9 or destroy that artifact ig? I think also the reason why WE CANT LVL UP ALLTHOUGH NEW LAYERS ARE ADDED is reason in lore nothing is progressing. The only moment they will allow us go past 20th level will be either an deep layer which will be just simply TOO hard for 20th lvl or when lore will start progressing.
I think that, in the future the game will give the player some type of power to stand against Zi'eer, or maybe, Zi'eer's throne can get destroyed, which will make him weaker. Or, the game may simply have npcs to kill Regent, since Archmage said he won't expand the game just for lore, I don't think etrea will actually sink

Hear me out, what if Lord Regent ate part of a drowned god similar to Pleeksty but it failed The reason he’s always on his throne is because he’s either immobilized, or severely weakened if he gets off of it It’s also possible he obtained kind of buff similar to a heavenly restriction from JJK where he gets a lot of mage power but no physical power We’ve already seen failed transformations in deepwoken like how that one etrean guy killed and ate some of an Eden kite and became the Dread Serpent It’s also possible that the reason the lord regent’s throne is all drowned depths looking is because he became similar to a demigod by eating the drowned part. It also may be possible the reason Duke Erisia says “that thing” when referring to Lord Regent is because Lord Regent’s soul was corrupted by the drowned god’s part and it’s actually taken over his body and is attempting to rejuvenate the rest of itself back to life. But anyway, we know he’s from the ministry since he’s a contractor and wears a blindfold, which the ministry does, and their goal is to make the world sink under the depths (from the death dialogue of a ministry NPC), so their motive has to stem from some sort of powerful intelligent depths entity they worship The reason ministry scouts wears blindfolds has to be either one of two things: They took an oath to a drowned god most likely AND OR its so they don’t go insane due to seeing the horrors of the depths creatures Now in the lord regents case, he most likely wears a blindfold for those two reasons, however he might also be wearing a blindfold in order to hide his eye color which will reveal that he may be a deepwoken The reason his throne chair is all depths like is probably because the drowned god part he ate converged with him and he began to radiate drowned/depths energy As for his motive for wanting the forge of sin, its possible that it’s for wealth, fame, or power, but those are most likely insignificant to him and the Ministry it ALSO may be possible that he wants the forge of sin in order to reawaken the drowned god or entity that they’re worshipping so that it can rule over all the luminants or something, however this part is also just a theory since im not entirely sure what the forge of sin does but i think it has to do with something about creating twisted versions of life, im not sure though. He stays on the throne to keep the mental veil he's casting on Etris. It's a type of magic that can usually only be placed on one or two people. Placing it on a city requires the throne's help

What can the player do about it? Not really a lot to regent by themselves, but they could rather try and collapse the ministry outpost and drag the artifact (the trial of one thing) out of it and transport it to a place that is safer to give it to (aka anything that wants to help fight etrea, like authority or hive.) Extracting the trial of one artifact out of the ministry outpost could potentially help create more powerful warriors for either the authority or hive, where they could potentially become even stronger than they are now and wage a full scale war on etris and *potentially destroy regent's throne artifact, which would make him lose significantly more power* resulting in possibly breaking the mental veil on the city, followed up by etris itself rebelling against regent. I should probably never cook again but y'know.

Regent before the throne could’ve high dif akira, but maestro could mid dif him, and pleeksty could no dif him. If he got off the throne now, its likely he could be more poweful then before the throne
They should add authority origin and their own island like etris but for authority only and some kind of lower erisia but in Central luminant and etris peoples will hunt you like authority at lower erisia

Regent is the 4th prophet. Maestro is stonger than regent. There is literally a book on the assasination of the King . It never states anywhere that the king of etrea is as strong as Amorus . Only thing you got right is that amorus was from the western luminant

the player can be skilled enough to beat an avatar of the drowned god. lord regent can simply tear your insides out by impaling you with tendrils. lord regent and the scion of ethiron are on the same team and both have extreme power but the scion has more power. its just that lord regent can use an unavoidable attack on humans.

i have no idea why atchmage is such a little shit when it comes to expanding the game, he was asked if he was planning on adding more islands and he said “whats the point” and whats worse is that every layer after 2 has to be twice as hard apparently, but he says “noooo i dont wanna give people something more powerful then the game gets boring!!!!” which would make literally an impossible situation where you hit basic enemies 50 times to kill them

The only way a player would be able in my opinion to save etris and the world itself is to become more influencial then other factions themself and start a rebelion wich could be achived by reaching Hero reputation with high charm in every faction, from the game perspective it wont ever happen but lore whise if you are a hero in everyones eyes they will surely follow (im myself trying to get hero rep on every faction just to lorewhise be something along side of a peacewalker) becouse if your power alone is not able to wistand regent all the factions on your side would be a big help
Here's my suggestion on what the player should do, this would literally make the game much more fun.
The player would have to go to Layer 2, and bring back Kennith by killing several npcs, just like you do with the Diluvan Mechanism.
After that, the player would have the choice to either travel to the Eastern and Central Luminant and inform the NPCs there by having atleast 25+ Charisma.
The next thing to do, would be a live event, re-surfacing Celtor by having a full server in the Depths with everybody having a Blessed Gem, and offering it to the
NPCs in the Dephts trial room. You'd be sent to the Isle of Vigils after, and inform Maestro.
After that, Celtor re-surfaces and you have the choice to get a new oath called 'Puppetmage.' This allows you to control enemies, just like the Mudskipper Brute.
This would give an advantadge, as you will have to kill 4 bonekeepers and grip them after going through Etris.
Regent then, would sink Etris halfway, but you'd have to save it by going to Minityrsa and meditating in the Valley of Heroes (Blizzard Knights won't spawn)
This wll trigger the final event, being to kill the Drowned Gods as their offering already had sufficed their hunger enough. Also killing Regent and the Prophets alongside it.
A lord regent boss fight would be sick, killing him is probably doable if you manage to get him out of the throne.

you only really need someone with Ironsing or Thundercall and Maestro. think this: a coordinated attack on the lord regent’s palace, where the thundercall user sends a beam of lightning into the palace, and destroys the throne. then maestro can go ham.
If deepwoken had a separate mode/game (something like that), story mode, player base would sky rocket and the game would be fun af
actually, the reason is maestro doesnt wanna intervene (beside the vigils reason, of course) because he's afraid that once the ruler of etris is gone, the authority will take over the island. (there are other reasons ofcourse, but this is the main one)

I think a really neat video would be an in depth (haha depths) video explaining what a great drowning actually is. I’ve heard that celtor didn’t happen solely due to wealth and greed and similarly to etris had a prophet involved in the drowning. I’ve seen a ss of arch saying it wasn’t just greed. Although what kinda sucks is that physically we don’t know how an island is sunk. We don’t know what causes it to happen at all. If you know anything about the actual physical causes that can be brought by the ministry PLEASE make a video on it since even half the lore hunters got no clue on the specifics. Just the vague idea that it’s a lot of dead people and islands sinking.

Hear me out, what if Lord Regent ate part of a drowned god similar to Pleeksty but it failed
The reason he’s always on his throne is because he’s either immobilized, or severely weakened if he gets off of it
It’s also possible he obtained kind of buff similar to a heavenly restriction from JJK where he gets a lot of mage power but no physical power
We’ve already seen failed transformations in deepwoken like how that one etrean guy killed and ate some of an Eden kite and became the Dread Serpent
It’s also possible that the reason the lord regent’s throne is all drowned depths looking is because he became similar to a demigod by eating the drowned part.
It also may be possible the reason Duke Erisia says “that thing” when referring to Lord Regent is because Lord Regent’s soul was corrupted by the drowned god’s part and it’s actually taken over his body and is attempting to rejuvenate the rest of itself back to life.
But anyway, we know he’s from the ministry since he’s a contractor and wears a blindfold, which the ministry does, and their goal is to make the world sink under the depths (from the death dialogue of a ministry NPC), so their motive has to stem from some sort of powerful intelligent depths entity they worship
The reason ministry scouts wears blindfolds has to be either one of two things:
They took an oath to a drowned god most likely AND OR
its so they don’t go insane due to seeing the horrors of the depths creatures
Now in the lord regents case, he most likely wears a blindfold for those two reasons, however he might also be wearing a blindfold in order to hide his eye color which will reveal that he may be a deepwoken
The reason his throne chair is all depths like is probably because the drowned god part he ate converged with him and he began to radiate drowned/depths energy
As for his motive for wanting the forge of sin, its possible that it’s for wealth, fame, or power, but those are most likely insignificant to him and the Ministry
it ALSO may be possible that he wants the forge of sin in order to reawaken the drowned god or entity that they’re worshipping so that it can rule over all the luminants or something, however this part is also just a theory since im not entirely sure what the forge of sin does but i think it has to do with something about creating twisted versions of life, im not sure though.

He stays on the throne to keep the mental veil he's casting on Etris. It's a type of magic that can usually only be placed on one or two people. Placing it on a city requires the throne's help

What can the player do about it? Not really a lot to regent by themselves, but they could rather try and collapse the ministry outpost and drag the artifact (the trial of one thing) out of it and transport it to a place that is safer to give it to (aka anything that wants to help fight etrea, like authority or hive.) Extracting the trial of one artifact out of the ministry outpost could potentially help create more powerful warriors for either the authority or hive, where they could potentially become even stronger than they are now and wage a full scale war on etris and *potentially destroy regent's throne artifact, which would make him lose significantly more power* resulting in possibly breaking the mental veil on the city, followed up by etris itself rebelling against regent.
I should probably never cook again but y'know.

Regent before the throne could’ve high dif akira, but maestro could mid dif him, and pleeksty could no dif him. Even if someone goes and asks a powerful NPC that we might know where he is, Like armours pleesky who lives in the western liminatin (theoretically) The first prophet is an Equally as powerful being as Amours so it would just cause massive destruction which the minsityra want.
So no matter what The first prophet can overpower any powerful NPC since Amrours pleeksy Is unknown in location
