I have been looking forward to the Paris trip for months - traveling in one of the world's most romantic cities with one of my best friends since high school. During the trip, I finally realized that our understanding for friendship, relationship and life are so far from each other that it was hard to find a midpoint. I ended up spending the new years alone, but that was one of the best ones I've had.
