We are planning on our own property between 60-100 acres by the end of February. I’m hoping to be able to get the handheld one. Still learning how to clean my kill(got to kill first) and cook em so this would help to get my first hog kill. 38years old and never been able to get a kill yet. Patience is key.

I am glad Burris is teamed up with deer meat for dinner. I hope I win a scope may be interesting to hunt with. The optic technology has come a long way.

Does the scope come with a quick detach mount? For instance, can I pop it off my rifle, scan with it, then clamp it back on quickly?

Hopefully I'll win that giveaway and get to start thermal hunting! The scope looks like a solid unit!

18650 battery won't fit in my BTS 50, why? I've tried with 4 different batteries. The one that came with scope is slightly shorter..

There are some different variations of the 18650. The "protected button top" versions are typically too long. We recommend the Panasonic 3400mAh for max life. This is a really good place to source them: www.18650batterystore.com/

He's gonna be kinda bummed once he plays with the Burris and feels compelled to switch from Pulsar. 😁

The BTC 50 is a great thermal. But battery life is awful at best. Tried 123's and rechargeable 123's. Minutes of use at best. Any recommendations?

@@BurrisOpticsCompany thats all great, but why dont yall tell people you will have to buy a $200 adapter and the battery life is so awful, you have to but $120 battery pack? or, maybe, marketing fella above would make it in a nice hard case (not cardboard) and have one adapter and this battery pack in it? So, anyone that buys this thermal will have an additional $320 to make it operational as a "clip on"

Use the 7pin Lemo cable that came with the unit to power from an external battery pack.
