I agree: lousy packaging. Your idea is a good one. I have a nice box set that a friend sent me. All of the DVDs are in separate plastic cases. I haven't watched any of them yet.
Jeez... I knew there had to be a catch, considering the extremely low price, but at least the discs are in good shape! Blu-ray's are hardy, man!! I was concerned the Get Back Blu-ray set would be like this, as it had a similar design, but in that case, it's a joy getting the discs out. Very smooth! Enjoy these movies! Raiders is probably my favorite too, but many of my favorite scenes from the trilogy actually come from Temple of Doom! :D
If any thing joe they would be wood glue damage which is repairable, reminds me of trying to get new vinyl out of a sleeve full of static now that's a pain, nice cheep boxset though the new mccartney pure 4 cd boxset is made like that too
When i bought The Godfather Collection three disc set, i opened the case, i noticed all 3 discs were piled on top of each other on a single pin. Nothing was holding them in so when i pulled 1 out the others slid out too. Geez the studios don't care anymore.
I suppose if you had spent a hundred bucks on the set, you would have made a rant video! Instead, at only $2, it's no big deal. I always watch the extra features on DVDs, and I'm sure that the one on this set will have some interesting things on it.
I think the original Indiana Jones Trilogy on Beta and VHS are worth a lot of money. Awesome Video Joe!!!
I totally agree with you Joe, Horrible packaging. Sadly I have many sets like that
They do that crap for some cd box sets too, it's beyond aggravating.
Fingerprints and small smudges can be wiped off, scratches are forever.

I have the exact same set. I screamed to holy heaven the first time I took a disc out. The book design is unique, sure, but practical? NO.
It is snowing here in Augusta, first time in over a hundred years.
Really? That's crazy
@MrCineMayo It is crazy. Tells You something about the climate. First a Hurricane and then Snowfall.
@robbiedetroitstigermanviny8883 It's the work of Doctor Doom!!
Advice about snow from a Canadian. if you see yellow snow don't walk on it or touch it. It's probably dog pee.
That is bad packaging . You'd think they'd make sure people can get the DVDs out without struggling.

No big deal at all for $2. Plus the discs are fine.
