My occupation is as an electrician. I started learning English in 2023 through RUclips channels. When I started to learn I was worried but I committed myself. I will learn so I started from on by on word. Now I can understand, write, and speak normally. when I listen to this interview. I got more confident myself thank you to you and my Pakistani sister who motivated all of us. Best Regard

    Hello, Thanks so much to you and Manahel definitely i agree with Manahel about learning English because i have attended tons of lessons with a professional tutor then I discovered that if you are planning to study any subject, the learner must put in 70% of his/her effort, however the tutor gets 30%.Don't worry if you make any mistake, therefore even the native speaker makes a mistake. the last thing I would like to share is that studying and learning is constantly processed whether it is English as a language or another subject.

She expresses with so much confidence that if you told me she was born in America and therefore a native speaker, I'd totally believe you since she doesn't even have regional accent or I wasn't able to detect it. This is the level I hope to reach one day, she's the role model to follow for us non-native speakers

    • @Bekind251
      @Bekind251 10 дней назад

      It is important to note that American English accents vary greatly by region, with each state having its own unique accent. As a teacher, I would have never guessed that this girl has never been to America based on her speech, as she sounds just like any other American kid. I find her ability to mimic the American standard accent to be very impressive, as she is 99% on point with the accent.

    • @Stardustcartoonns
      @Stardustcartoonns 10 дней назад

      @@Bekind251 no she isn't. She does not sound like a American at all. She uses words like started in an American way but her Pakistani accent is clearly coming through.
      The lady is what American accent actually sounds like.
      I heard her for a min and could easily tell she's Pakistani because her accent has come through several times

      Thank you so much for your genuine analysis. This is the basics of learning . Grown up have to mantain different duties, responsiblities, and to tackle the hadships of life . They can't concentrate on a single track . Thats why I insist Minahil to share her experience with others . And parents should encourage and cooprate with their kids to set their own goals and destination . May ALLAH bless all of us.

    Actually, the function of a language is actually for communication. As long as you understand me and I understand you, it is okay and it is enough. Speaking English with an RP or with a GA accent is good if someone wants to be a newsreader.

      That's true. It will be fine for people like me to learn a second language to communicate others but students need a lot . They must pay attention to all areas of a language . Minahil's brothers (the elder one is in grade 10th and the younger in 6th) are Alhamdulillah more than brilliant in academics and fluency . We never stop them to live with english and they are good. Thanks a lot for your appropriate comment.

    It's normal in Pakistan elite class who got educated from Cambridge/American curriculum based schools. And ma'am English is an official language of Pakistan since it's birth.

    Thanks Minhail and Jennifer! As Jennifer says, Minhail speaks fast although she is clearer than most native speakers who speak really fast. In my opinion, teenagers should learn to speak like Jennifer, because communication doesn't mean to speak fast. As a non native speaker who uses English at work, I have learnt that speaking at right pace (non fast) is the best way to give importance to what you are saying and makes other people understand.
