You think so? I think her whole closing argument was trash. Including the rebuttal. She should’ve talked about each victim that died especially the little boy. She should’ve brought him up specifically in the rebuttal because that scumbag was whining about not being able to meet and hold his son. She should’ve compared it. Her closing argument was complete garbage. She made more mistakes than darell made objections. It’s sad. This whole trial is just a joke. I feel so bad for the victims and their families.

His motive was total rage and someone was going to pay for him not being able to finish abusing his ex girlfriend. He made it blatantly obvious that the only reason he had the ex on the stand was to continue his abuse of her.

I find it fascinating that someone could say this DA could have done a better job. She was speaking to normal people not lawyers. She held their hand through every step of every crime and every purposeful act. If this jury can’t convict on every count it has absolutely zero to do with how they presented the case nor the closing.

New sub here! I’ve been listening everyday and watching when I can.. brooks is a very conniving character. I think today was a complete circus and as patient as the judge has been she’s give him way too much leniency this whole time. I wish they could show the jury the stunts and his demeanor throughout.. there was times he stared down and even flinched his head in a threatening manner. If you’ve seen more than just the last couple hours of the trial you’d have to wonder what he’s done to his exes in the past... I can only imagine the abuse they’ve endured. I’m trying to have some faith in the jury but I think about the jury in the Casey Anthony trial and how everyone thought they’d definitely come back with a guilty verdict.. I wonder how many of the jury could have the same morals or lack of. Brooks ran that courtroom because the judge allowed it. Worried af right now..

The ex, her friends, the victims for not moving out of the way, the parents who didn't seek immediate medical attention, the car manufacturer, God, the court, the judge, the state, the technology... the only one who wouldnt be on the list is Brooks himself

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that sovereign citizens don't acknowledge the government, yet Brooks fights so hard for his constitutional rights.. how can he have it both ways?

They can track IP through reddit (a simple subpoena would do) and find out who it was from. My guess is he had a friend, family member, or another inmate do it. 😵

Watched a lot of this trial, crazy stuff happened. So I am glad to hear a lawyers point of view to make sense of all this! Thank you for sharing your expertise.
All I can say is this guy is very narcissistic and did not seem remorseful in his closing statement. The Christians I know own up to what they do and would take an opportunity like he had to do so. For him to mention his faith and what he was taught growing up made me wonder why he was not showing more remorse and empathy for his victims. He would have known better and made a more respectful effort throughout the trial. In fact , one could argue this would have never happened if he was truly close to the Lord Jesus. May justice be speedy here and he gets the punishment he deserves.

I saw you on the group chat with Emily and friends. Great job! I wish Wisconsin had the death penalty. He should watch his back. Someone is going to get to him when he's in jail.

I missed your live today. This trial is like a long travel back home. You have a stopover that is only a few hours away from your home, and you know that you are almost there but it feels so far away the closer you get! Oh, the torture!

There’s nothing better than an authentic Big Amish Breakfast….followed by a big slice of homemade pie! Years ago, I visited an Amish community near Canton, Ohio. The food was phenomenal! The Amish are the kindest, sweetest - most docile people. It was SO peaceful and relaxing 🥰

The Amish are the biggest puppy mill breeders in the country. Go look at some online photos of the conditions they keep those poor dogs in, and then come back and tell me how "sweet" they are. They don't believe they need to treat dogs with kindness because they don't have souls and are just dumb animals that humans have dominion over, but that we as humans have no responsibility to treat them well or care for them. That's not just a few of the Amish, in some areas. It's one of their most profitable enterprises and they sell those sick and diseased puppies to non Amish people all over the country. They make millions of dollars a year collectively. But yeah, they're totally sweet. 🙄

Darrell brooks said, in court, he was in the medical part of the jail, he is now in currently. Also, in a letter to his mom, shared to a TV station, he said he was the most hated man in the jail.

Why is he in that part of jail. He is not insane. Maybe that's for his own protection I guess. He should be in GP. He was also complaining how bad they're treating him in jail. What does he expect.

@@rosalynjeffery9510 I think.. think...They were putting him on psychiatric meds to control his outbursts and protecting him from other inmates. I can't remember where I heard he was now on meds. I think it was when he was in another state facing charges for beating up his girlfriend, after this case.

I think that due to the past couple of years and Zoom courts coming into play because of that. There really isn't a problem with him being in the other court room. He has full access to what was visually and audibly going on next door. Courts cases are still being done by Zoom.
