I am one of the few who actually witnessed a truck hit that runaway ramp on the parkway. I was stuck in stand still traffic at the tubes (go figure) and a semi passed me on the right burm goin about moch 1 and and hit that ramp so hard it made a wave of gravel in front of it. Now if they ever finish sawmill run blvd, I’ve truly seen everything.

I was the last car to exit the fort pitt tunnel when the rig coming down greentree hill lost its brakes and slammed into the outbound side’s wall back in the late 90s.
Imagine doing 65 mph and looking left as you exited the tunnel to see the source of the howling brakes and seeing the front end of a rig coming at you.
I watched in the rear view mirror as it hit the car behind me and spun it in the air before impacting the wall and buckling the hood.

I saw a truck that had gone down that runaway truck ramp. The truck was on its side, looked like it came to a stop just before the end of the ramp, then the edge of the ramp gave way. This was way back, not long after the ramp was put in.
This one-sided massacre of a game made me not want to watch the NFL next year, but I still will watch another episode of Pittsburgh Dad after every Steeler game.
Between this and U-Tree, it's about all of the NFL Coverage I saw this year, makes for a better viewing experience.
The sad thing is, I’ve been on the waiting list for steelers season tickets for over a decade. I live in Tampa and they practically gave me season tickets, a free hat and flag every year.
