I just use a black marker/paint (something along those lines) on the pipe and push the vanity to the pipes and it marks the pipe locations on the back of the vanity. No measuring pipe location and transferring those measurements to the vanity. I found my method to be very easy.
I would like to have seen a list of items that would be needed for this DIY tutorial. Which chalk, flexible hoses needed, plumbers putty, ect.... A basic list of tool needed to perform the removal and replacement. Just think of all the items I would need to purchase form the closest Lowes.
@@Pfillwieffer point is, shes just a paid actress. No problem with that. But to pretend like she's someone that's breaking gender norms and has now learned a trade is kind of ridiculous. She's just following a script.

@@Pfillwieffer yeah Im a plumber. Watching some videos because I need to install a vanity. I'm wondering if you use shims won't they be visible and look bad? Electrician is a great trade. Great idea for a video but poor execution. Saying "do this" and showing it for a few seconds on the screen with some "hip" fast-paced music is glossing over the "how-to". Why not slow down long enough to actually show - not tell. Yes, your video will be longer but people will actually use your video to follow along to install the vanity when they buy it. Perhaps you think your target market is hip millennials with the attention span of a squirrel, but trust me when I say 1) they aren't the ones buying your bathroom vanities and 2) even if they are - I'm pretty sure they'd appreciate some more details as opposed to 2:43 minutes that pretty much amounts to nothing more than a slightly extended TV commercial. 😉
Millennials are now between 25 and 40 years old. Why wouldn't they be buying vanities?? Also, why would you assume they have the attention span of a squirrel? You obviously have something against millennials. You should deal with that.
@@nuchalrigidity1677 HA HA HA LOL I Guess I triggered you. Aw, don't worry I do like millennials who don't have the attention span of a squirrel. Nothing to deal with there! HA HA HA LOL

That's smart.
Thank you. Doing mine on Wednesday

couldnt you have just written it down?
I tell ya that was some impressive water pressure. Lol
Lmaooo ikr
🤣 I was really expecting some Niagara Falls pressure.
Because it takes a minute for it to build up after turning it back on
Aha that teflon tape probably broke a peice off and is covering half of the cartridge 😂
I found this super useful and just finished my bathroom with these steps - thank you!
@2:29 "It's amazing how 1 change can transform a whole room"
Changes:
- Vanity
- Sink
- Towel
- Medicine Cabinet
- Hand Towel
- Waste Basket
- Floor Mat
- Soap Dispenser
- Candle Holder
- Faucet
- Towel Bar
- TP Holder
- Wall Picture frame

You removed the shut off valves and cut holes with a hole saw. You did not discuss the valve removal.
I like the old vanity better. 😂
Me too! Gray is so drab. I don't know why it's trending. It looks like a prison or mental institution color.
Great video but you never use teflon tape with compression fittings
Thanks for watching, and you're correct, we will make a note of this.
@@loweshow do I know if I have compression fittings??
Easiest possible installation case.
Loving the diversity!
You have changed the towels at last to transform the room
So where was the step to remove compression fitting ferrule. I like how it goes from drill holes in vanity and suddenly the pipes are ready to go.
How about the teflon tape on the compression threads.......
Teflon tape on the compression fitting?
A wrap or two will ease the threads for tightening, not for sealing.
Yeh definitely not necessary but it won’t hurt anything...some extra insurance i guess
@@akbychoice you don't need to ease the threads if your not cross threading
Good job
Well done!
How much is the service cost !?
Yessss slay girl! Looks great!!!!
She stripped the screw head and put teflon on the angle stop. She's not a plumber
@@squirreltastic-k5v yeah well she’s doing better than the person that didn’t even try to do it! Haha I didn’t notice

That drain had a nice 45 angle into the p trap
Hello, can I use your video for my upcoming my compilation and ofcourse I will credit you
Shouldn't she have installed the plumping fixtures on the sink first before installing the sink?
Exactly, saves you bending down a lot and time.
Yes
You don't use Teflon tape on those threads
You definitely do
Then what do you use? Glue?
I use it on all threads.
WHO CARESSSSSSS BRO😂 she did a great job for a diy
@@twoplus7647nothing. It’s a compression fitting. The seal is built in, and that’s why the valve has a beveled edge on the inside on the threads
How to install ptocess bathroom
It was just painted ?! That’s it
Where is Monica...and her weekender
Scoring the caulk is not common knowledge same with floor base score it b4 u rip it or u might rip sheetrock paper

Even pros make mistakes... avg homeowner shouldnt try this
Depends on if the homeowner is smart with common sense. I don’t see why not as long as you do your research and read all the comments.
