Prestur Arrives, but with a Problem!

We came down and met Prestur for the first time in the middle of the night. Of course, he was adorable. Then, early in the morning, we were thrilled to see him nurse. But we noticed something....
His left front hoof was doubled under!
We panicked. Was my future and perfect riding horse going to be, at best, a lawn ornament....?
We called vet. He came immediately. (Nice to have a friend and neighbor as your vet.) He also brought his sense of humor.
